  1. It's not USB Drivers. Some early test BIOS version I'm using can't even enter Win7 (acpi error along with some others).
  2. I can assure you it isn't that easy, newer platform like this need BIOS-level support to enable an unofficially supported OS. We have to ask the MB Vendor to do a platform enablement, and after it is supported, it's still a workaround with many bugs. That said, MSI already provide it and I will hopefully bench with that next time :) Yeah will be trying hard to catch up to you!
  3. Installing win7 on X399 will need some BIOS adjustment, my version used in this score can't do that. There's another BIOS that's supposed to do that and I'm still trying it right now :)
  4. Power is over 1 kW at the wall during that 5.4Ghz 1.65v run. I wrote some small details here: http://oc.jagatreview.com/2018/08/ryzen-threadripper-2990wx-msi-x399-meg-creation-ln2-oc-cinebench-8000/
  5. Oh Dear the WR for 32M suddenly got scarier after Computex 2018 :o :o Anyway Congrats for the monster score - love to see the battle in 32M :D
  6. Hi, As requirement for G.Skill OCWC Final, I need to make all my software and tools publicly available for MSI Z370I Gaming Pro Carbon AC that I'm probably going to use for Memory Clock stage. So here is the link to my google Drive latest test OC BIOS and Command Center Lite for the Z370I Gaming Pro Carbon MSI sent me: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1o6ho3cumjOltmyYeAe_ZnMIlYwBQ4xj5 Content: - Official 1.3 BIOS - T.O2 and T.O4 BIOS - FPT Tool for flashing - Command Center Lite for finetuning in OS - (not important for OC - InSpectre Tool to check current protection status for the Spectre/Meltdown) Please do note that until now I haven't tested these BIOSes since I'm still waiting to fix my broken board. So use the file as your own risk!
  7. One thing for sure, re-training memory combined with slow-booting has been very stressful without any kind of post-code LED there. Anyway, it's been good these past three months battling it out with you guys - hopefully to see you guys in some other comps, it's time to rest a bit..
  8. I honestly have no idea man, even sometimes re-booting and retraining the memories under exact same setting resulted in different memory scores..
  9. Finally this is over. Congrats on your 2nd win mate, honored to fight it out with you guys these past 3 months. Keep pushing it!
  10. For Xtreme benching I'm assuming win7 support is still possible though, as long as there's a method/tool to access the CPU variables, still too early now - i hope there will be some tool with win7 support
  11. Windows 7 don't work with Ryzen master utility/SDK and all other current OC utilities for that platform.
  12. To mods, sorry I missed that 5001 one. Please remove my scores here My last score the 154k here have shown 4993 hwbot: http://hwbot.org/submission/3835592 futuremark : https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/26160658
  13. Yeah, it's overclocked a bit by BCLK, can't get it even a single BCLK more
  14. Thanks guys - it was last minute team effort with BlueFiber and IvanCupa, still beaten up after GSkill yesterday hahah
  15. Interesting point. While some GBT board do have a bit more 'quirks' than some others, but the point of overclocking was pushing whatever you got to its maximum edge of stability no matter what the conditions, wasn't it? If you wanted to be competitive, then finding workarounds are a given, since it is us that pushed these hardware beyond stock.
  16. Phew. My Lord, the difficuly of these competitions was getting more BRUTAL than ever each year. Waiting for the validation then..
  17. For those who are using MSI Z370I Gaming Pro Carbon AC and need the BIOS(+flash tool) and Command Center lite, I've uploaded it in here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KTV1WGu-mhallDt4mc6uzCg_tlmoS3No/view?usp=sharing
