The Official GALAX GOC 2016 Worldwide Qualifier support thread
websmile replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Competitions
Clarification after I had this question now several times in private, the FM link has to show cpu used (unknown cpu not accepted) and 6003 is limit there as well. On the nvvdd, when it works for Galax R&D plus inhouse bencher there and was checked now several times, there is no way I can help with this. -
Yes, I used 7zip 16.04 and it worked, my old 3,42 winrar failed^^
-
On aboth stages different models of cpus are required. Subfamily means exactly this at stage 2 as well, 1155 socket but different cpu models
-
First of all, the submission itself looks good at first glance, 2 core with HT is allowed. The only thing that is needed to look for is that you bench with online connection because save file doesn´t work at current version (developper is doing re vamp to fix this) You bench, you login at button with hwbot nick and password, press submit, and there you go. The program will ask you to take a screenshot (CPUZ cpu, mem and mainboard tab mandatory, spd tab can come on top, gpuz or if readout is correct cpu graphics tab is needed as well as background, result window with hardware recoginition and subtest+result) you take the screenshot and there you go - Christian Ney updated the rules for the benchmark two days ago, there you can check general guidelines as well. In the future internet connection should not be needed, but this comes when save file problem is fixed Edit We will accept CPUZ graphics tab if it shows card and frequency, we did at stage 1 and 2, for stage 4 we will change rules most likely bc the general rules for realbench hwbot were drafted yesterday

As said, it was tested by Galax R&D and they could not reproduce the problem. Will give a heads up anyway again, but normally it should not be the program itself -
x99 is ok, and mems as well

Is there a way to set up sli in this board with BIOs 1.21B or 1,31 I missed? I tried xp and win7, several different drivers and 250gts as well as 8800gts 512mb and it showed no option to enable sli... Edit seems I did not bench old sli in a long time, thx for the heads up to digg de and bullshooter -
What´s the problem anyway? We all saved datafiles over years at good result when link was needed for competition or globals and then submitted with screenshot on top later. This might become more convenient and better to handle in the future and you still can bench without active internet. For me this is progress, I don´t understand the fight about this

Erm, what you are talking about is team cup, here is the example of sc1 OC eSports Country cup was always smaller in amount of stages and did not focus that much on old hardware OC eSports In fact I think it might be even cheaper this year than last year when I see needed hardware, but we did not calculate this

ASRock Z170M OCF funhouse
websmile replied to Splave's topic in Skylake/Kaby Lake/Coffee Lake (-X) (Z170/Z270/Z370/X299) OC
In my opinion all works fine, but the sensors are somehow messed up, maybe calibration was broken or whatever, performance of the board is still ok. After I tested both BIOS chips and flashed BIOSes and MEIs, I rather think it is monitoring chip than BIOS issue -
6,5+ xtu? Awesome cpu^^

Just because it is not displayed doesn´t mean it doesn´t happen - on my board regularly vdimm measuring fails now or displays weird values, also temp monitoring is not working correctly, I already flashed other BIOS versions, reflashed to old BIOS, flashed MEI several times. The problem is not solved... -
6600K L603 delidded air cooling, my sensors are failing onboard Hwbotprime 5g/4,5g 1,312v, not less tested CB15 4,8/4,5 3600c16 1,216v minimum

About physics, please do not use window mode, keep it at standard rules. Yu can disable other subtests for physics, but 3dmark11 rules and physis rules are applied for this stage, I had this question privately and also at wild card qualifier, so I think clarification is welcome in case someone is unsure about this. -
Boxed cooler only, tray cpus not allowed
-
At core division question, we limited the Intel stages to different maximum cores allowed. This will do the job, it is easier to handle than core division which is obviously a problem at a pattern which already is divided by number of results to get an average score @wiLLius the problem is not browswer related imho, it occurs when I try to add as well. It is investigated atm Edit Pieter added the score and now it should work for all contestants, thx @Massman
-
I proposed to mix it, make core division for stage 4 and let other stages stay at full out. We had core division very often now, might be time to also give the big guns a chance at 2d

Hmm, no idea why, tasked the database expert to have alook into this

Rookie Rumble: GPU PI not per core related scores?
websmile replied to SirTryAlot's topic in HWBOT Competitions
Multicore benchmarks that are measured by fastest time like GPUPI or y cruncher are not suitable for core division^^ - we will have to live with this. I think mixing stages is best solution -

RD tested again, and they have no problem with this, even +250 worked without bouncing back like at your example. If the card is hard-modded, this might cause the problem, if not it is most likely an OS problem. I hope you can solve this or already did find a way -
Rookie Rumble: GPU PI not per core related scores?
websmile replied to SirTryAlot's topic in HWBOT Competitions
It honours you, but we usually mix core division depending on benchmarks used. GPUPI is not a benchmark that is good for core division, maybe next time we restrict hardware used by number of max cores used. -
finally made real test of my 6600k, I think is L547 or something like this, will add next week / L548B 5g core 4,5g cache hwbotprime 1,33v, 1,31v collapsed at runs end. Non delidded, megahalems air cooling
