  1. Pieter made the list and it was OK, if we would have hammered out more cores, it would have been chaos as there are a lot we could have added - the main "problem" was the rebranding, because of that we went by core models because we wanted to avoid that same card is ruled out just because it has a rebranded name^^
  2. This is a t architecture board with 4 dimms of e die - I had around 1620 iirc at 4,5 ghz, this configuration is extremely fast
  3. Small heads up, eoc sports site seems to be extremely slow atm, if you submit try to do via hwbot and add to the comp there if you encounter problems
  4. Go to the submission, on the right side should be a button edit and a button delete entry - let me know if it worked for you
  5. The site is extremely slow, if you encounter problems submit via hwbot and add to the competition there
  6. Please stay with the listed graphic core models, models that are not explicitly listed are not allowed
  7. @GRIFF your proposal is welcome, but Frank did a good job in the balance, so I would prefer to keep the round like he designed it. 771/775 are now 10 years old as well and together with the older hardware used in other stages this is a solid concept
  8. Yes, I created already a ticket to fix this, looks weird Edit the score on stage 3 is now shown with decimals (rounded) but the endresult will be correct, this is because of the nature of calculation^^
  9. Wow, it only took four years and three new Intel cpu gens plus someone to break my old friends Maggus record he did without ever having had support by vendors btw - good run, DJ
  10. For me the stages and hardware choice are very good, apart from the simplification at quadros I see no reason to change your concept, Frank. If we make things too complicated, we scare new guys of, and this is why I like your clear choice of benchmarks and hardware.
  11. Honestly, if it does not cost an arm or leg, I am interested and would buy - it depends on the price, my limit would be around 300 Euros shipped - this is much money for me but it would be worth it for me
  12. How about limiting the quadros by Core? I would propose G96 or older, it will be easier for me and participants plus you have dx10 for vantage from g80 upwards. http://hwbot.org/hardware/videocards#key=nvidia_quadro_series Generally, you did a very good and fast job, I am looking forward to round 3
  13. No, it is no longer property of Asus because it was given away as early sample for free use and became property of new owner Edit 1950XTX and X800XT PE sold
  14. Sales time All components are tested to work, on details refer to items descriptions. The boards can go because my enthusiasm for Asus faded a bit and I use other vendors, the cards were binned partially and meant to be benched but this obviously will not happen... Let´s start VGAs from the upper left down and then upper right down 1. MSI ATI Radeon X1950XTX 512MB GDDR4 Flagship of the X1xxx series of ATI, fastest card of the series (650/1000 stock). The card works flawless and is in mint condition, I even have the original box and accessory but this is huge and will raise shipping. 2. Gigabyte Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB The card comes with its original custom cooling solution by Gigabyte, very good condition 3. ATI Radeon X1900XT Crossfire master edition Specs resemble 1900XT, but the card is also capable to make up a crossfire duo with a normal XT or XTX, the original crossfire dongle is included 4. Zotac Geforce GTX280 AMP Good condition, the card came to me with a custom undervoltage BIOS which I never changed, so there might be much more in it than what I saw at my short bench tests years ago. 5. ATI Radeon X800XT Platinum edition The card comes with an accelero cooler which sometimes makes small noises, apart from this in very good condition Mainboards 6. Asus Maximus VII Impact Z97 This board comes bulk, it is a special sample with alu block cooler. Top binned, first owner got easy 2800 6-9-6 on cold, running 2750 8-12-8 psc or high samsung was a piece of cake. This board is indeed special, hard for me to sell it but better than see it rot in my drawer. No official warranty 7. Asus Maximus VI Impact Z87 Awesome board as well, retail with full accessory and box. Did very well with psc and samsung (all I have left) and is in like new condition. For the board I have a wholesale invoice from first owner, no idea about warranty, from sn it should be valid but Asus does not handle this custmer friendly iirc Prices excluding shipping 1. 35 Euro sold 2. 20 Euro 3. 20 Euro 4. 40 Euro 5. 20 Euro sold 6. 150 Euro 7. 150 Euro Payment is possible with paypal (gift or buyer covers fees) or western union. The items are located in germany, shipping will vary, this depends on size and weight, but on the vgas I am not sure 15-18 euros, which is estimated up to 2kg in eu, will make sense for one card only. For a quote, please contact me Disclaimer: I am no shop-owner, so I rule out warranty and returns. The items offered work flawless and are not changed physically, so manufacturer warranty is valid -unless you change this, and then it is non of my business anymore
  15. Last bump - btw there will be a second thread soon with old ati cards and some impacts, I divide this for better overview
  16. I sent Frank a PM, we need to make a few adjustments like limit age of quadros, there are modern M5000s iirc for 10k we all do not want to see, but he did an awesome job so far
  17. It is easy when you dial in the card by hand, there will come up two options when you dialed Geforce GT 71 - the normal and a GK208. On GPUPI, I guess this is developers problem so you might adress this at gpupi thread P.S. We have already an internal task for clean up when comp is over, I also moved a couple of subs durig pre check - but it is not funny when people cannot even read a drop down menu that pops up with two! choices^^
  18. Looks good, you got PM regarding two points, apart from this I am very happy with the build up
  19. Rules not online so far? Hmm - iirc, no server cpus for all stages. On Generation, no limit for stage 1
  20. Thanks, at the moment I only do rare benchmark and softwaretests on 1151 for which I have a 6600K, which does the job. If it weren´t for this I might have sold the board and my remaining semi tested ddr4 as well. Not much time, and ddr4 system is constant temptation for me
  21. If you go below 10 degrees idle I would not call this enthusiast league anymore. MSI gave you a really generous temperature limit, I do not think it would be wise to annoy them
