  1. Might be a bad sample, compability, IMC or mems, such things can happen. Reminds me of my two z97 Asrock OPCF who weren´t able to clock PSC even at 2600C8 with Haswell 4x70k cpus, sometimes you run out of luck, sorry you couldn´t enjoy the board 4k c16 on 3200C16 ripjawV, only mems I have, this sample was provided by ebay and sponsored by my wallet - it is nearly impossible to get higher binned Samsungs in germany at all, and I don´t see reason to buy abroad
  2. This picture on FB might be misleading, the 3kc13 are specced at 13-13-13, I see no way AFR will be able to do this trcd, especially as I have information by various people that they are worse on this than MFR - not sure this true, but they would have to be much better at this than previous Hynix, which I have hard times to believe in
  3. I still have a meme I created for FB, I think I will recycle this, this is the true spirit of an environmentalist To be serious, it would be helpful for oldschool downloads for example if you could name the downloads, makes it easier to find stuff that is needed instead of having to download all to find something
  4. Which ones?^^ If they are afr, they vary a lot in quality, binned them and 50% of the kits are not that good - I have the other 50%
  5. I had only one CPU, sorry^^ - buy the Ecos instead, Bala
  6. My pleasure, will send you a PM
  7. Maybe main difference is trcd/rtp, if mems are on the edge of limits you can sometimes (and need to do) force them to pass tests at limit regions.
  8. Good morning. Up for sale is my 1151 retail hardware plus a couple of DDR3 kits which are leftovers of my bench time 1. Intel Core i5 6600K boxed wof retail With invoice, non delidded, 1,152v vid on Asus, checked for 5ghz 1,32v SPi32m on win 7x64, hwbotprime 1,34v, 5,1ghz 1,41v hwbotprime and geekbench full slots 3333c13 5,1ghz 1,44v, these results can be improved with delidding and much better cooling than my average old air cooler can provide. Best retail i5 I saw so far 2. 3x(2x4GB GEIL Dragon DDR4-3333 C16-16-16-36 1.35v) Hynix, most likely MFR, and some of the best retails I saw so far, I binned these from a lot of kits purchased at german online shops. All kits are capable to run at least 3100c11, 3200c12 and 3333c13, these are minimum values, 3200c12 for example worked on all kits with 1,57v Bios or less, all of them will go higher, 3200c11 boot and win enter worked on most of the sticks but due to lack of experience on ddr4 and z170, I did not push too hard on volts and imc, on full slots I tested 3333c13 as well, was easy. In original packaging with invoices 3. 4x4GB Kingston Predator ddr4-2666c13-14-14-39 1,35v One of three kits I purchased a while ago for X99 which never came – when I moved to Z170, I already had some of the GEIL so I did not test too deep on these, 3200 c15-15-28 below 1,35v full slots and 3333 C16-16-28 at same volts in dual. In box with invoice 4. 4. 4x4GB Kingston Predator ddr4-26666c13-14-14-39 1,35v One of three kits I purchased a while ago for X99 which never came – when I moved to Z170, I already had some of the GEIL so I did not test too deep on these, 3200 c15-15-28 below 1,35v full slots and 3333 C16-16-28 at same volts in dual. In box with invoice 5. 2x2GB G.Skill Flare DDR3-1800 7-8-7-24 1.65v Good condition, 2600 8-12-9-28 1,85v tight 32M, 2667 works at same timings but needed around 1,92v on my tests. Kit is uneven, one stick is handbrake, second stick is tested for 2730 8-12-9-28 in dual channel on ocf at 1,9v 6. 2x2gb G.Skill Eco DDR3-1600 7-8-7-24 1,35v Kit works without problems but was only used for a surf rig despite being built with xpsc, iirc thex needed a bit above 1,7v gor 2400c7. As ususal, on 1155 and 1150, these need a bit above 1,35v to do specs, this is because of architecture of platforms. 7. 2x2GB G.Skill DDR3-1600 7-8-7-24 1,6v One of the best voltage kits I ever had, 2667 tight all benches 8-13-9-28 rtl 40/40 on Impact at 1,78v, unfortunately I only found a 8-13-10 screen at 1,80v 32m, 1,57v 7-11-9-28 2400 on Z77 - I think you may find some xtus or geekbench results on hwbot if you want to know more, bulk Prices in euros 1. 450 Euros + shipping sold 2. 115 Euros + shipping for each(one) kit one sold to Rule, two other kits sold as well combined, payment received on all three kits 3. 115 Euros+shipping reserved 4. 115 Euros+shipping 5. 60 Euros+shipping 6. 30 Euros+shipping 7. 60 Euros+shipping Payment with paypal or western union, buyer is responsible for the fees, so please take this in - shipping to european community will depend on items, please ask, will be 8-15 euros with deutsche post or dhl, this varies with weight and insurance. No low-balling please, if some items don´t sell I simply keep them Disclaimer: No returns, no warranty by me because this is a private sale. On OC, ymmv, but I test on air and you can check my hwbot profiles for pics of my "highend-cooling"
  9. First of all, check the BIOS and tools section here, on Asus you need XP-capable Bios like 0031 or 0040 for Hero to make it work - then download the guide, check the section which explains XP installation and read it. It works, I use M8H and installed xp on 0031 and 0040 easily
  10. Stay tuned for my brand new thread today on which I will offer 2x2GB G.Skill Flare that do 2600 8-12-9 and 2667 8-12-9 at 1,85 and 1,92v respectively, one stick tested for 2730 8-12-9 1,9v tight on ocf - just need time to do pictures and unify threads Can be moved, thx for the space, hwbot
  11. Last bump, reasonable bundle offers welcome
  12. Interesting board, Impact VII did great for me - what is the black disk for, the one that is between usb and coolhub, to which a cable from plug on board leads to? CMos battery?
  13. Time for a first facit on the HeroVIII I tested, other than on Z87 when I was disappointed I am happy with the board, solid performance and cpu-clocks, good mem oc, only thing I miss is dual BIOS, but I think this is made up by USB-flashback, and decent pricing. A few results: Mems are 3200c16 retails, full slot worked as well as shown, solid, in better hands with better sticks it might fly a lot higher
  14. I sense fail
  15. I guess my 3200 gskill I bought used will not compete against this^^ P.S. a bit above 1,6v real for my run, not sure how scaling is at high regions, mine are d die
  16. First test on new cpu and new mems and final test on board - maybe I will get used to sams at my tests, more fun for me than hynix which I did not fancy on ddr3, we all have our preferences^^ Let´s keep on quizzing
  17. Yes, MFR
  18. XP won´t be faster without waza anyway, you won´t save time . @Luumi I made a couple of full-slot tests, this works but is not too easy to handle, binning should be done in single or dual when you think one stick is weak, all air, so results will be easier with wc or cold Very hard on skylake to keep good real tight rtls on air for me, no matter which board I use or mems, IMC on air fights hard
  19. Oops, forgot to edit the price lol - done now
  20. Pricedrop on the Kingston
