  1. Darnit Christian, now I am next to last. Way to kill my hopes & dreams.
  2. Hahaha...I'll need a LOT of luck. On the plus side, I thought I'd end up next to last. Instead, I'm next to next to last. It's one better than expected.
  3. Heh, if your IMC is up to the task it's easy. Mine won't allow anything above 2370 no matter what I do.
  4. Nice score! Same here man. I've requested it a few times now for the same reason and have yet to be switched.
  5. Please note OptyTrooper/AmericanNightmare's behavior this evening is not reflective of OCF's benching team or befitting its members. That should have been kind-of obvious by the responses from other members, but in case it was in question, that is not how we conduct ourselves. He is no longer part of our team. Crazy insane job single-handedly taking the competition Christian Ney!
  6. Yes, I know. Already did that. EDIT - Attempted to send 2nd one. Neither confirmed submission, they just sat there, then 'blinked' as if the page refreshed.
  7. Sorry, I thought with the implication you can disable points for submissions, you could also move someone over to pro. Apologies.
  8. I asked to go pro two days ago and still remain in Overclockers League...mind moving me over Christian? Thanks!
  9. It was not placed in the rules. I looked high and low for it before submitting ES results and it is nowhere to be found. It's buried somewhere in a thread. Rather than spend who knows how long looking through that thread I'll trust Massman. After his post, my question was rhetorical. Sorry if it caused you to waste any of your time actually looking for it.
  10. Just to be clear, for my part I'm perfectly fine moving to Pro. I benched an ES, want to submit it and that's the price I pay. As long as I can still score points for my team, that's my only concern. I don't mind being what I think will be the next-to-last-place Pro as long as the team doesn't suffer. Heh, it can only be clear if it's a rule. If you can show me it somewhere in the rules, I'll be happy to help diagnose whether it's clear.
  11. Yea, might be a good idea to put that there. Heh, guess I get my chance to see how (poorly) I stack up against the pros. The request didn't confirm submission, so if you'd be so kind, please move me over. I want to help my team and can't afford to replace ES with retail for no other reason than that, so I can pretty much only submit for points to help my team in the Pro league. Thanks.
  12. Wait, so ES chips are not allowed at the bot, period? Could you link to the rule that says that? I spent quite a bit of time looking around for that before submitting 3960X results and saw nothing of the sort.
  13. Thanks! Oh, it's close. Not close enough to prevent removing your GPU (unless you have larger fingers than I), but close nonetheless. The penalty for giving quad-GPU ability on a board that isn't extended vertically. Was there something specific you're looking for? I know Eldonko from HardwareCanucks had problems reaching it when using an air cooler. I only tested on water, so it wasn't a problem for me.
  14. ... Return to article to continue reading. Thought I'd share this here too. Warning - it's really, really long...this board just has a crazy number of features.
  15. Thought this might be well received here. ... ... Return to article to continue reading. (Copious amounts of Vaseline helps too.)
  16. Heh, on the RIVE ASUS said screw turbo. Their default setting on "Load Optimized Defaults" is all cores 39x all the time. That's my kind of board. (But if you feel like manually setting it, you can change whatever tubro frequency you want for one through six core loads.)
  17. Mines an ES and can't do it. I started at 155 on the 166 divider, then moved down in 5MHz steps. No POST until I got down to 135.
  18. Hah, i wish I had a chip that good. For stability anyway, my chip takes 1.4 for 4.7GHz. I didn't try in between that and 1.5V for 5.0GHz (was in a hurry), but at ~1.51V, it runs 5.0GHz WP1024 stable. Sadly, my chip seems to hit an ambient wall at 5.1GHz. Via multi or UEFI it doesn't operate at that temp. I'm going to have to go cold to see if it improves. I'm worried that 5.1 is my speed wall, but there's only one way to find out.
  19. I just gave it a whirl (everything but bclk and RAM divider on auto). I couldn't POST at 155, 150, 145 or 135. It did make it into windows at 135. This is on an RIVE w/ 3960X.
  20. Good point. Guess I just never thought about it that way before; it's just more evident with more options available. That's why you get paid the big bucks!
  21. Seems like batch might matter this time. SB was a multi wall - these are speed walls. With the strap option, you can put the multi down crazy low and still hit the same wall. Unless SB's walls were speed walls and not multi walls, we just couldn't find out b/c there was no strap option. Hmm...
