Gigabyte z170 SOCF Kabylake RAM Oc Not work

Hi, the problem is, the Board work Not with 3600 cl12 1T with bios F20 for Kaby.

 

Skylake work 3866 1T with No problems.

 

Other bios ?

 

3200 1T its the Max and 2t work Fine with 3866 cl 12 but Bad effi, i will bench with 1T

 

I saw a Soc bench with Kaby and 3866 cl12 1T but he have the x14b bios, Download link, i cant Not Fond this Version.

Thats a big Problem, i have the z270x 5 her, the same prob, then i Buy a soc, the same

 

Gigabyte must work on a better RAM performence, thats a crime with the Kaby.

Pretty sure x14b is for Z170 LN2 board, too bad I can't use it in the comp. They should provide a "Comp Allowed" modified bios to allow us to enter and not have major advantage.

Guess I'll use Z97 SOC Force LN2 until a new OC centric retail board is launched. here's pic of vastly improved bios

 

 

No idea what these IMC Control settings do yet

It's not about the bios rather the layout,you will never achieve with a 4-dimmer the results a 2-dimmer like ln2-board can produce.

My new best effi Setting :

 

Quad 3950 cl 12 2 t

 

@ Update 1T

 

Set xmp 3600 1T cl 12 with 1,95v Rest @stock

 

Reboot, Training 30min then go in the bios, ui new set 3200 cl12 1t, what ever he switch the mhz, i tested with rotion,blck and 3600 fixed , No Chance, Switch back to 3200

 

I sad, thats a big fail with Kabys.

 

Sky and Soc run 3980 cl12 1 t!

i have Serious problem in here

i wasting my time over than 3 week on Gigabyte motherboards.

i tested these boards :

Z270X-G5

Z270X-G7

Z270X-G9

Z270X-SOC gaming

 

but all of these boards have really huge problem for mem training. i can't even boot 3733 Cl 12-12-12 in here with any voltages

Have you tried 3500? I have 3530 1T running just fine on a terrible D-die kit.

 

But 3600 1T is impossible for me.

Yes under 3600 run 1 T, but the effi its very bad, thats my best effi with 2 T Quad ^^

I cant boot 3750 12-12-12-240 2T with the Galax Mems, 1T i can max boot 3300. shit Bios Board is the Z170X-UD5

I can 1T at 3600!

 

Train the RAM at the highest speed that POSTs 1T then Enable Fast Boot(which disable RAM training during POST) and raise the RAM speed to what you actually want. I don't have anything stronger than some D-die that can barely do 3733 15-19-19-28 but I can get 1T working on them above 3600 with the method I described.
