Funny thing is it gets globals assuming almost 5 more years of 1-core cpu releases after Northwood core (prescotts 1M/2M, CedarMills, Conroe, a number of AMD cores).

Northwood cores are also much better in Hwbot Prime. Wonder why...

Can you please write the stepping and date details of that CPU ? Is it a Malaysian ?

 

I'm pretty sure that Northwood efficiency is due to the shorter pipeline stages (20 northwood - 30 prescott)
