February 24, 201115 yr new Gulftowns suck for SuperPi (even a 6.2GHz 06CPUtest chip can barely do 1M at that speed) so I guess people prefer to waste their money buying SB that max out 52/53x lol
February 28, 201115 yr 990X benching will come these days Heard a bit of stuwi's pretesting and he told me exactly the same issue in 1m/32m that we experienced with 980X also. CPUs are looking good for pifast (6650+) and 05/06/Vantage.
March 1, 201115 yr I noticed lots of 980X is good for 3D and Pifast, but no good for Spi. I think is a IMC problem and you need high voltage at the RAMs to work. But lots of 980X run CPUz with great frequency...but don t keep good performance in 3D... Dreaming with a 990X or 980X running like Hicookie or Nickshih's CPU...lol
March 1, 201115 yr I can run vantage CPU test at 6500MHz and max clocks are ~7070MHz. Superpi 1M = 6100Mhz ..it must be the heaviest of them all!
