Crew Strunkenbold Posted November 2, 2011 Crew Share Posted November 2, 2011 So. 1) Overclock AMD K6 2) Win Bulldozer Will be very tough to beat Turricans record. The one who crack the 800Mhz mark probably deserves the price.

Lordred
Are the Bulldozers considered part of Vision? or just the APU's?

Rasparthe
Opty you ever figure out how to validate your P5A board with a CPUz higher than version 152? I saw you had the same trouble I'm having saving/submitting a CPUz validation. I can do it only for version 152 or earlier. Problem being you can't submit validation files that old any longer. Mods: Any suggestions on how I can submit using a P5A board if you cannot use CPUz because it doesn't save the file. I have a screen shot showing the valid is that enough? Christian Ney
I have the same problem as well with the GA-5AX so far with Pentium 1/MMX and Cyrix . Will check with AMD K6-2 soon Edited November 25, 2011 by Christian Ney
OptyTrooper
Rasparthe, I gave up trying w/K6 for that very reason.
Massman
Validation links are an absolute requirement for this benchmark. As Christian explained it to me, this seems to be a chipset-specific issue. I think Frank (developer of CPU-Z) should be able to fix this quite easily, so I suggested I'll contact him about this issue. But I fear the solution will not arrive before the end of this competition. Other Socket7 boards seem to work fine, though.
OptyTrooper
I contacted him almost 2 years ago Massman and he did not fix it. Just like the "invalid" K7 issue.
Rasparthe
I have contacted him as well and no response. The forums look like a morgue. I see that others have just posted a link to another chip for the submission and used a screenshot. Also I do have a validation file....its just 152. Massman
The scores in the competition are all v1.58 ?
Rasparthe
No, I meant in other P5A subs, not necessarily in this competition. But looking back through the last 6 months I see that only one guy is responsible for all the CPUz validations for P5A.
