Massman
Not that much enthusiasm for CeBIT ?
El Gappo
Is there anything interesting happening?
Massman
I think Asus will be doing a behind-the-scenes overclocking demo, assuming from Slamms/Smoke attending the event. Apart from that, there's the idea of doing a German OC thing, but that's still unsure.
Crew Leeghoofd Posted January 9, 2013 Crew Share Posted January 9, 2013 For the OC event(s) I'm in (if in europe), but not to wander again during 4 days to hardly see anything new... better meet up with the guys and have some fun..
SoF
cebit seems to have lost a lot reputation and influence the last 3-4 years better save money for a trip to computex these days
Massman
Computex is Haswell launch. It's gonna be interesting!

marmott
No not for us. It's getting smaller and smaller each year, a bit worrying.
Massman
No G.SKILL at CeBIT this year. One big OC demo by vendor confirmed.
der8auer
Who's said vendor?
Crew Leeghoofd Posted January 29, 2013 Crew Share Posted January 29, 2013 you got already something workedout Roman ? OCing is the only reason for me being in Germany during that period, skipping CeBIT entirely... unless some interesting event takes place somewhere yet unnanounced... der8auer
Nothing so far... I might host a bigger OC event but still to much to do with my uni exams Also I will propably not go to CeBit this year. Seems to be pretty boring. Massman
Who's said vendor? ASRock, I think. Don't have details on what, though, but obviously it's not going to be Haswell as the NDA is June 2nd. Like I said - save up during may-april-may and come to Computex. I bet you we can have about a dozen 'oc events' in here
t0mz0r
I'll be there too, just dropping by for a couple days.

But El Gappo is hosting a Haswell launch event in UK, seems like a great idea for EU clockers, going to UK is pretty close to free.

Would be cool to have more international guys coming to the UK events, that one will definitely be worth the travel.
SF3D
Is there some updated list who is coming to Cebit this year? First page of this thread does not seem to be up to date.. hopefully
Massman
Not many folks confirmed, I think. Let me go over the thread again later. @Gappo: Any details on the event?
El Gappo
100 person LAN, open benching, Ln2 OC competition, 10K cash prizing and the worlds biggest indoor bungee jump. Sponsors and other prizing TBA, it was crazy at the last "grand champion" event so expecting more of the same. That's all I've got so far A small event coming up next month but nothing crazy like the GC event. http://www.overclock.net/t/1357015/50-person-ocn-uk-ln2-lan-48hr-event#post_19211247
