Christian Ney Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 (edited) Says "starts on 30 April 2013" and "Stage-End 04.30.2013" Edited February 2, 2013 by Christian Ney Quote
Massman Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 I haven't set a starting date yet, because CatZilla is not available yet. Just the Beta. Quote
teurorist Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) Validation requirements A verification screenshot is required. Please attach a picture of your overclocking rig. Must use competition background: link For CPU-Z a verification URL is required instead of a screenshot with background Engineering samples are not allowed   you forgot to write down that there is a picture or even better a video from the live event required ? xxbassplayerxx Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Any limit to the hardware that can be used here or is it in all-out, i.e. BD/PD for CPU-Z, 4x 680's for Catzilla (if it launches), and 7970 for AM3? Quote
aliey29 Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 How to Submit Aquamark with Youtube Link?? i want to submitted it but no colomn for youtube link Quote
Devroush Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Hm yes you're right. Uploading a youtube url is considered part of the verification, but if you make a submission with a datafile, you don't have to add any verification, the datafile itself is enough. I'll move the youtube url part to the upload pics of your system part. Â I'll let you know when it's fixed. Quote
Devroush Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 The code is fixed but it will be a few days before we do another deploy to the production server. Hang on to your score a little longer . Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 So far all four submissions are just people filming their personal bench session. You may want to clarify the rules and remove these: Â http://hwbot.org/submission/2351628 http://hwbot.org/submission/2353695 http://hwbot.org/submission/2355193 http://hwbot.org/submission/2351914 Quote
Massman Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Yes, those submissions are not valid. Â The idea is that you show overclocking in front of other people, not just post your own session. You need to get out of your house for this part of the Team Cup Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Another one with just a Youtube link! Â http://hwbot.org/search/submissions/permalink?ids=2355776 Â It might be a good idea to update the competition description to clarify things since five people have already submitted incorrectly. aliey29 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 @Massman : hehehehe.....i don't read the rules very carefully.....but after my submit deleted from the competition....i read the rules again...n said in my heart "Oh God Live Perfomance OC demo for 50 people" hahahhahaha..... Quote

Luckily we have a big LAN coming up... otherwise this would be very difficult! Quote
Bobnova Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Pretty much impossible for me personally. I live in a tiny area. Thankfully OCF has people in some Big Places. Quote
I.M.O.G. Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Does it actually have to be live-live? Does a livestream session count if it meets the viewer requirements? I logged over 21 viewer hours tonight, and had several hundred viewers over a 4 hour session. Quote
Massman Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 It has to be live-live, in front of an audience of real people. Pretty much like doing on an exhibition like CeBIT or inside a shop as demo. Â I'll reduce the requirement of "50 people" maybe. In front of 10 or 20 people would be fine too as long as it's an open event. We will be very flexible approving results in this stage ;-) Quote
Massman Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Okay, updated the stage a bit reducing the required minimum amount of spectators to be 20 instead of 50. But as I mentioned earlier, we will be quite lenient for this stage; all you need to do, basically, is go out and demonstrate your hobby Quote
Dreadlockyx Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Is it OK if I go out in the street ? What if nobody cares ? Quote
Massman Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Go out on the street and make a video about it. If 20 people see you overclocking, it's fine. The requirement is not to convert people into overclocking - just to show . Quote
Crabby Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Is it OK if I go out in the street ? What if nobody cares ? Â Make a big sign "free overclocking show" and then hit the street. Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 http://hwbot.org/submission/2362132 Â This one is just a video. Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted March 4, 2013 Crew Posted March 4, 2013 Any update on the things to bench for the last stage ? Quote
Massman Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Since CatZilla is (still) not final build, it's not included in the live stage. The two others are still the same, haven't changed. Quote
Massman Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Updated the CPU-Z stage by removing the link to the background and requirement for screenshot as the rule states:  For CPU-Z a verification URL is required instead of a screenshot with background  Sorry for the confusion. Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted March 6, 2013 Crew Posted March 6, 2013 Sorry for the 3rd, yes I'm a spam wore  TITAN is or is not allowed in this stage ?  I honestly hope it would not be allowed at all... Quote
