All did 4,5 - 4,6 on air Primestable and stay below 80°C Need to test on LN2 tho I had about 3x L315B407, good air clockers but did not scale on LN2 for me, lets hope yours is different! Mine did 1.36v 5ghz 32m for your reference, and was a very hot chip, 87c load average at 1.4v on corsair h60 and 4.5ghz cinebench

der8auer
Man you're indeed lucky. I bought about 15 retails myself already and the highest validation was 6,3 I had about 3x L315B407, good air clockers but did not scale on LN2 for me, lets hope yours is different! Mine did 1.36v 5ghz 32m for your reference, and was a very hot chip, 87c load average at 1.4v on corsair h60 and 4.5ghz cinebench Same here btw. Awesome CPU for air-clocking but doesnt scale at all. 6,1 max valid

Crew Vivi Posted September 6, 2013 Crew Share Posted September 6, 2013 Hi guys, anybody got info with L312B547 batch? Gracias! L312B5xx are all good! If you find a low v chip it will fly. i would go for it. mtech i have that same batch! Keep trying to find a low v chip but cant.. my 1.4v chip did 6.3 on 2 cores 32M, but looks like your CB is holding you back alooot
Hiwa
I dont test air anymore Boot with all chips 6ghz -70 1.6 Then i go down with the temp if cb lower than -120 so i test the core if not change I have 2 cpus 1.22 5ghz but cb -110 can do max 6300/6400 Best chip is still my es with cb -140.

Hiwa
Not exactly Team russia 7g chip was 1.35 5g And my 6750 is 1.32 5g 4/8 32m Btw thats the first part of binning second part for 32m benchers is find the good imc can do tight when high freq I have a chip can do 6540 32m but only boot 2500mhz when all is tight with psc and bbse Edited September 6, 2013 by Hiwa
Hiwa
Vivi when we binned cpu for computex this year i saw -160 with a chip max 6800 1m at 2.4 vccin ,,, that chip hates higher ...
Xtreme Addict
In haswell you need to find scalign batch with good cb and then you can bin cpus by air, you can't bin air @ on different batches
Crew Vivi Posted September 6, 2013 Crew Share Posted September 6, 2013 In haswell you need to find scalign batch with good cb and then you can bin cpus by air, you can't bin air @ on different batches you cant reaaally compare ES to retail though hiwa, isnt the behaviour too different? I dont have alot of ES experience, but i tested 1 1.35v 5ghz ES and it flew to 6.5 at -115. I have not seen retails scale this good. the only way a retail will hit 6.7+ benchable is if it is from a scaling batch and has a below normal cb, like -140 or something, which is rare ofcourse. i do hope we see ES-like scaling and CB in future retails
