August 9, 201311 yr The XTU competition is over soon, so I will release my tweak for this benchmark. My frequencies are real, so 5800MHz is worth of 1537 points for real. 6GHz is near 1600 points So, stay tuned folks! That should be interesting
August 10, 201311 yr Waiting eagerly because I have not been able to wrap my head around this benchmark
August 13, 201311 yr Massman what did you delete? My curiosity is getting to me. Was it an XTU bug or what? I decompiled, and I know all of your secrets now
August 13, 201311 yr Because it highlighted a specific manufacturer, and I want to get this issue looked at without too much drama. We're looking into it. One thing is very clear though: XTU does not calculate the score based on the estimated overclock.

August 30, 201311 yr So given that you can't see what OS XTU results use (no SS), and there are magic "tweaks" in the wild, and a lot of the SS's that do exist that show high scores are on Win8, can we block all XTU results for being suspiciously high? If not, what, if anything, can/is be/being done about win8 and XTU?
August 31, 201311 yr I received a hotfix for XTU that resolves Win8 issues. I think it will be pushed to the download site asap .
August 31, 201311 yr I need to remind, that my scores were not done on Win 8. Issue was quite similar anyway It is fixed now by Intel which is good thing.
September 3, 201311 yr Massman sir, Please help to enable my XTU score http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2419763_dhenzjhen_xtu_xeon_e5_2687w_2039
September 3, 201311 yr I'll check with our developer tomorrow. It's an interesting issue. XTU is designer to automatically stop submissions with ES of unreleased hardware. For example, Ivy Bridge-E submission support was added a couple of weeks before the launch, but those submissions did not make it to public. There is code logic to enable them once the hardware is launched, but apparently this is not working for IVBE. You have a Sandy Bridge-EP. Not sure if we even have a launch date for that platform in our (xtu) database
September 3, 201311 yr 8 core works tho http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2419745_dhenzjhen_xtu_xeon_e5_2687w_1463_marks
September 3, 201311 yr Ah, I see what the problem is. For the 8xCPU submission, the CPU string is "Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2687W 0 @ 3.10GHz". For the other one it's, "Genuine Intel® CPU @ 3.10GHz". Any CPU string that does not have an actual product sku but has something along the lines of Genuine Intel is blocked by default. The reason is (sort of) explained here: http://forum.hwbot.org/showpost.php?p=243199&postcount=5. Genuine Intel is a qualification sample, and Intel does not want those to be used for XTU profiles and scores. How come it says Genuine Intel? Older silicon revision?
September 3, 201311 yr Looks like I've used an early stepping on the 16 core sub. Need to try maybe C1s or C2s and see what gives. BRB
September 4, 201311 yr Do you have any error message? What's exactly the problem? Link to the submission?
September 4, 201311 yr Any reason my retail 4930k scores aren't being accepted? I don't think XTU has been updated for Ivy E yet.
September 4, 201311 yr Do you have any error message? What's exactly the problem?Link to the submission? After I submit it I get a message saying I'm using ES or unreleased hardware and agree to not accept any points for the submission. The submission isn't saved anywhere that I see it. I don't think XTU has been updated for Ivy E yet. I think it has because yesterday when I started XTU the auto update notified there was a new update so I installed it.
September 4, 201311 yr Ive E is now allowed for XTU submissions. Is there any specific proggy to use or just use the one for SB-E?
September 4, 201311 yr Do you have any error message? What's exactly the problem?Link to the submission? Ok it is showing up now but the points are disabled. Can you enable the points please? http://hwbot.org/submission/2421931_metalracer_xtu_core_i7_4930k_1639_marks?recalculate=true
September 5, 201311 yr Looks like I've used an early stepping on the 16 core sub. Need to try maybe C1s or C2s and see what gives. BRB And I'm back http://hwbot.org/submission/2422241_dhenzjhen_xtu_2x_xeon_e5_2687w_v2_2128_marks
