Posted August 11, 201311 yr Is there any way to use the newest Nvidia drivers without connecting to the internet?
August 12, 201311 yr I extract driver to a folder I know and point the gpu to the extracted folder with device manager and it installs. Driver and control panel only though.
August 12, 201311 yr I just tried .net4.0 + XP-32 + 320.18 (again) and it doesn't work. Maybe my XP has had too much stripped out of it?

August 12, 201311 yr I'll DL 320.49 and compare directly EDIT: Nope. Still get a "no internet connection" found. Ethernet is disabled in BIOS, no Ethernet drivers installed, obviously Edited August 12, 201311 yr by K404

Ethernet is disabled in BIOS, no Ethernet drivers installed, obviously I would do as jjjc says, just extract the driver, install through device manager, point to the location to where you extracted it. You don't need the control panel when you have NvInspector
August 13, 201311 yr .net3.5 didn't work but "unpack and point" did Thanks for the help guys! :D (I SWEAR that installing drivers was easier in the good ol days )
August 13, 201311 yr This is an off-topic thing to ask.....but if we're messing around with drivers in XP.... does anyone feel like comparing 320.49 to 314.21? I found 320.49 to be a LOT worse with Kepler-6. The difference is so big, it feels like I missed something.... but I don't think I did
