Crew Antinomy Posted December 10, 2013 Crew Posted December 10, 2013 We can add more achievements for sure. If anyone wants to see some added, just let us knowMine were ignored Quote
knopflerbruce Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 More socket achievements would be nice As for more levels of gold cups etc... please, no You can maybe add 2500 and 5000 for users, and maybe 10k for teams, but more than that will probably be too much for any person or team to manage. IanCutress Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Who said anything about 10k team golds? Quote
knopflerbruce Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Knut mentioned it in his last post 10k total cups should be doable. Quote
IanCutress Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 No-one suggested added 10k team golds, just a couple of votes against anyone suggesting it I'd want more esoteric achievements. Put it this way, there are generally four types of achievements for games: 1) Complete the Story mode 2) Grinding 3) Special Skill (Perform 25 combo) 4) Random specific achievements (finish a stage in exactly 2 mins, hit for 3333 damage) Almost all can fit in those four. K404 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 How about a user achievement for the Enthusiast & Extreme Leagues based on the hardware points contribution to someones global ranking? Level one: +100 points contribution ....250....500....600.....750.....800.....900.....998*....998 for a month? Anyone who gets Levels 8 & 9 are AWESOME * 24 hour verification period in case of typos during submissions or sabotage and 998 because the points algorithm caps at 49.9 for hardware gold. Quote
knopflerbruce Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I think 995 is good enough, then. It should be hard, but not impossible. 49.75 avg is pretty touch anyway Quote
Massman Posted December 12, 2013 Author Posted December 12, 2013 Team contribution is not in steps of max 49.9, though. Quote
Crew Antinomy Posted December 12, 2013 Crew Posted December 12, 2013 I did 1k points team contribution in a month. Tough, but not impossible. I did this with 5.2 TPP submissions Quote
GENiEBEN Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I did 1k points team contribution in a month. Tough, but not impossible. I did this with 5.2 TPP submissions High Five, most I did was ~800 in ~20days, only lame 5.2 subs. +1 for Ian's suggestions, I will contribute when my brain wakes up Quote
knopflerbruce Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=39789 - seems like 1100+, but some pcm7 scores not worth any points. However, I bet some socres were worth more than 5.2 TPP Quote
K404 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I don't mean team contribution, maybe I explained that badly. I mean a users top-20 scores that generate hardware points for personal ranking. If a user can A/ have a contribution of 998 points and not have any of those results beaten for an entire month, they've earned that level 10 achievement FOR SURE Quote
Massman Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 Okay, moved all the posts from the other discussion into a new sticky discussion. Please stick to the format of "name - requirement - image" to suggest achievements Quote
Massman Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 User Achievement: SuperPi 1M is the devilRequirements: Score exactly 6.666 in Spi 1m Just realized this - I don't think SuperPI can do .666 Quote
TaPaKaH Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 May be on non-XP it can, otherwise achievement would be too easy Quote
der8auer Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Looks like it's time for the "Ultimate Sandbagging Achievement". Submit a score within the last 10 seconds of a competition. Quote
knopflerbruce Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I'm not very creative, but what about this: "submit scores with x number of different hardware of type y" (y=CPUs, GPUs, Intel CPUs, AMD CPUs or whatever). I'd also like to see socket achievements for all sockets You can also add the lengthy run challenges for some CPU benchmarks (in the same way there is one for AM3). Superpi 32m and wprime 1024m are good choices. Quote
GENiEBEN Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Grinding: 1. Hardware library 1000+ 2. 1000 scores on desktop sockets 3. 1000 scores on mobile sockets 4. 50 (or more?) different ARM devices (any score with cpu != AMD/Intel/VIA/Cyrix basically?) 5. Have at least 1 score on each socket (not including SoC) Lucky: 1. Full sweep one CPU category and one GPU category. 2. 666 score in UCBench and 6666 in any 3D benchmark Persistence: 1. Submit each day a score on HWBOT for 1 month. (hard to track?) Quote
