I'm usually only benching Nvidia cards but had the chance to test a 7970 Matrix. So benched vantage, 3DMark11 and Heaven yesterday. Checking my scores I'm missing about 10% everywhere but I have absolutely no idea why and where. Just did another 4 hours of testing but could not fix it... Hello just got a new 7970 lightning BE from RMA but there is no ln2 bios on so I can not set voltage is there anyone who has it is there anyone who can share it? zzolio

Hey This time I want to share my experience from the great card - ASUS HD7970 DirectCU II and how to prepare it on LN2. Remember, it voids warranty 1. We have to resolder choke and capacitor from the front of PCB and solder it to the back of PCB (of course we have to put capacitor with correct side, in other case it will blow up). Hey. Having issues with video loss when going cold with my 7970L. Happends around -90c. I think Ive read summet about this, but cant find any real reading about it. Could it be summet about setting diff Gen? Anyone share sum info on this with be very much appritiated.

I saw this on KPC, from Ronaldo and PJ Is this only a "quirk" of some cards, or all? Only one of my cards appears to do this. I guess I could use it as card 2 in CF.... but i'd rather know what was going on in the bench if i'm benching it alone. Thanks

Hi all! Overclockers around Europe was invited to Campus Party 2010, which was held in Madrid, Spain 14-18.4.2010. Our intention was to test my (2) Gigabyte SOC 5870 cards properly, now when LN2 was not a problem. Cards were ok. Both over 1400MHz+ and no coldbug. Other card is still not fully tested. Voltages used on VGA's were 1.5Vgpu and 1,72Vmem. Vmem really helps with the cold and these cards started to overclock a bit better than before. There was some performance / efficiency issues, which were not fully clear. 10.3 driver in single run and 10.4 beta in dual. 10.4 seemed to be quite bad in vantage, but we managed to push cards high enough to get the dua…

Hey guys, Had a quick first LN2 session with the Gulftown B1 this evening. Only had about 15L and no experience with this CPU under LN2, so everything had to be done rather quickly. First I installed the GTX275 Lightning on air for some quick 2D benchmarks. Afterwards I decided to pop in the R5870 Lightning for a quick set of 3D benchmarks.
