Hy boys, I want to change my ASUS MAXIMUS V GENE because it don't like cold to bench under LN2. With temperatures higher -80° the system crash and I can't push my 3770K to the max frequency. What can I buy? An other MVG or a GIGABYTE Z77X-UD4H for the same price ? What is better ? Thanks

My new blog: http://cpuwars.wordpress.com/ I decided to commit to a project and put my time and money into a research, which will finally reveal the true objective preformance of both brands. The tests will be preformed in many applications/games under three different frequencies (3.4GHz, 4.0GHz and 4.5GHz). I will compare i5 3570K, FX-8120 and FX-8320. Complaints, praise, requests, etc.. are welcome here !

2012, almost all active MB brands launched ITX boards. ITX advantage is smaller dimension. If using high performance CPU, GPU or WiFi technology support, it may create more value to PC as competing with smart phones, tablets or laptops. GIGABYTE former two generations Intel ITX MB specs were normal and late. For Ivy Bridge structure, the specs are improved a lot. It?s capable to compete with the others. Taiwan has two models, H77N WIFI and B75N. The PCB designs are almost the same. The main difference is H77N WIFI built-in BT4.0 / WiFi card and antenna. H77 chipsets supports two SATA3 devices, but B75 only supports one. This article is testing GIGABYTE B75N…

Solid-State Drive does improve C performance in past 4 years. No matter DeskTop PC or Notebook both shorten the system processing time. It?s why SSD still so popular after launching many years. However, the high price also impact the popularity. Every year, SSD price is almost 50% off. The price segment is based on 100 or 200USD. As history price record, 2 years ago, 200USD only could have 60GB, last year was 120GB and this year is 240GB. This year, you can find many 120GB SSD below 100USD. This price point is acceptable. 3 years ago, CORSAIR, from USA, started their SSD product line which was pioneer in this field. Controller also moved from SAMSUNG to SandF…

well as the title says,i need to know under what category my cooling rig belongs... simply put,its an air conditioner that has its evaporator submerged in antifreeze.now i think it should be under water cooling, but the air conditioner is technically a phase change cooler... if you need to see it to understand, here is the build log: http://www.carbonite.co.za/f29/my-kinda-crazy-cheapo-cooling-rig-36459/

Hi, I'm curious as to whether or not (low-end) closed-loop cpu water coolers such as the Antec Kuhler 620 should actually be listed as "Water Cooling" for submissions.. I feel that this cooler is merely a different type of air cooler, and I don't think it's fair to be ranked against people with real water setups. Thanks in advance for any info.

In recent 2 years, MSI did not focus on the Ultrabook series as many other brands, they mainly focused on high performance of Gaming series Notebooks, that makes MSI to become a well known gaming products company in the market, also shows how important of the Gaming related market. MSI Gaming, Dell Alienware and ASUS ROG are the top 3 of the gaming laptop products in the gaming laptop market, that's the well known brands in the gaming laptop market. The higher product position comes with much higher price range. MSI extend their Gaming series become more price range segments, GT series on the top, GX series based on AMD platform, and GE series focus on the perf…

I have 3 Asus 9800GT Matrix cards. 2 SLI connectors on each card so you would think Tri SLI is possible but it's not. Tried diffent drivers, different SLI connectors.. Normal 9800GT's only have on connector so I thought it would be possible with the Matrix cards. Someone got it to work? Found this with google, would it be possible to modify the firmware for Tri SLI Support?

Today i did some test with 5 OCZ Vector and 3 Samsung 840 pro, all in the 128GB Variant:D I was very surprised, when i finished compare these drives, the OCZ Vector ist not bad at all, but it looses against the Samsung 840 Pro. In PCM05 both are really near together, but in PCMark Vantage, the Samsung declasses the Vector much! This was the last time for me, i buy OCZ SSDs, on Paper it looks like the strongest SSD on the market, but the tests show, that this is not more than marketing. Also Support for OCZ is an shame, there toolbox is not available for the Vector Here you can find my test with both SSDS, 3 Samsung against 5 OCZ, shame on you OCZ! http://www.fre…

So I have two Radeon HD 7770's, and I'm trying to run WinXP x64... but upon doing so, I've installed the latest 12.6 and 12.2 drivers, but I haven't tried anything older yet. In both driver versions, the CCC does not list any CrossFireX option anywhere inside of it with two HD 7770's installed. Does AMD not support CrossFireX in WindowsXP any longer? CrossFire works perfectly in Win7 x64 on the exact same hardware (in a different partition), fyi, so it's not the hardware, it's the software.
