What kind of problems you have with? I have an opposite experience - Hypers are hard for 775, but your Cellshocks are working fine.

The official HWBOT Team Cup 2018 - SC2: DDR2 thread.
ZFeSS replied to GRIFF's topic in HWBOT Competitions
I ask for help. All competitors who use 6800GS cards - compare a rivatuner and GPU-Z GPU detection, please. According to my experience GPU-Z detect all NV42 GPUs as NV41 and riva shows the right info. It makes problems with NV41 and NV42 categories splitting. It will be good if you can add a photo of your GPU too. -
I don't like situations like this, cause someone will be disappointed in the end no matter what decision was made. All of this submissions may be not wrong, but they may be not right also. You can choose your side but nothing more. I trust this guys and appreciate their effort. What we will say if someone "new" ask about those submissions? What will we do if someone will post a result with bugged cpu-z version? Should we trust him? Should we ban him? That's why I suppose that decision should be made right now. It would be better if we discuss it before removal because other fellow members feel better this way. Decision was made and I can understand it even if I don't like it. Anyway bug existed, fixed and we can move on. I think it's good news. Looks like I missed something interesting

GRIFF Table for Round 5 is not correct, because Remarc and maybe someone else made final submissions after 15 Jul. Competition has ended but not closed. I submit my 17k result in 3DM03 at last seconds of competition and was surprised when Remarc's one appeared day after. I don't check other stages. Thank you for the table. It was great contest.

Dual mendocino without 440BX is something new. -
7800GTX and 7800GTX 512 have different names too. That's what I try to explain to you. It's first and main reason to divide them. I agreed with you, that 7900 series cards with 256 and 512Mb can be merged, but not 7800GTX.
-
Your reasoning is even worse. In that case we should merge all RX400 and RX500 series, R9 290 and 390, same for 7000 and R9/R7 series, GTX770 and 680, GTX460 and 560, and more than 50 other models. Same for CPU. Should we merge i7-8700K and 8086K? Maybe all AMD FX series? Why we not merge cards with same PCB, memory speedbin, memory amount, but should merge cards which differs much more? Also all 7800GTX and 7800GTX 512 are reference cards. First reason for new category was different model name - http://www.nvidia.com/page/geforce_7800.html Nvidia says that 7800GTX and 7800GTX 512 are different cards.
-
Different PCB, memory packaging and speed, clocks, model name, memory amount. Is it not enough? They shares same GPU only, everything else is different. Nvidia says that 7800GTX and 7800GTX 512 are different models also.
-
7800GTX 512 and 7800GTX are totally different and produced as different models. Additional 120Mhz on core, different PCB and 136-pin 1.1ns memory instead 144-pin 1.6ns on 256MB card. Also all 7800GTX are reference cards. AFAIK 7800GT 512 is Gainward only. That's why I see the logic here.

ZFeSS replied to TASOS's topic in HWBOT Competitions
I dunno. All that i know, that heatsink shouldn't be glued to GPU, and previous owner was a dumbass. I successfully removed other memory rad and GPU heatsink, so I don't need to upload nightmares anymore -

Thanks for CPU. I'd like how it scales under cold. It's almost the limit for mem, max is 960 with looser subs. -
What kind of "magic" is it? Board MCH, binned mems, SPD, tweaking? None of my five X48 Asus boards can't run 32m even at 1000MHz with hypers. 1066 with D9GTR is impossible too.

Huge loads of hw you've got there! Interested in Abit IX48GT3 and IX38GT3. Are they boxed?

The line between ambient water and chilled/cold
ZFeSS replied to Elkim's topic in League Discussions
It's too complex. Just buy -40 rated one, $10 for 5L, it's available in every store with car goods. Rated for something like -20 is impossible to find here. -
The line between ambient water and chilled/cold
ZFeSS replied to Elkim's topic in League Discussions
Sometimes it is extreme because in some countryes in summer your ambient rise to +40 and on others you have +20. Between 20 and 40 degrees your cpu can go up with another 200 mhz so how is that fair for others? Today's conditions are different than last week, temps drop by 10 degrees. Is it fair? I am not in equal condition to myself. "Enthusiast should be about equal conditions" is impossible for obvious reason. Such thing never exists and no one can control this equality. So, if you stay outside it becomes more fair then? We talk about PC cooling or about freezing people?
