Staying positive I see Hardware is only one aspect of the equation, a good result is not made by hardware alone. The point splave made that I agree with is there is no way to effectively moderate hardware sharing. No biggy, you know that and I know that, that's why you want to alter how we do things in the future and I'm all for it. Where we disagree is a new version of hwbot where sample hardware and seeded people will still influence the team rankings - and you're talking about retarded rankings...

He actually has a good point. I've never liked this approach, if all teams can share hardware there is no advantage. ES and other sample hardware in many instances do not belong to anyone specific yet their results are all over the bot. It's a ridiculous contradiction.

What you wanna ban down clocking? That's pretty silly...if a bench does better on certain settings so be it, you just gotta find out the sweet spots for your rig.

And forget the people who understand perfectly what's going on. I love this logic, hwbot throws voting out the window because a few stray people 'may' not grasp the concept. Not sure why that matters, if a user reports a score a mod will see it. You won't have a user reporting something and a mod deleting it without looking everything over.

In fact, a user cannot hard delete a result. The mods will see any reported score even though regular users cannot.

Actually that is not true. While having an ORB link is a good starting point, it does not mean a result will always be validated by hwbot.

For current submissions no it's not. If you're talking old archived results then you don't need to worry about them.

Per hwbot rules you only need an ORB URL in the top 20 of each benchmark. But it's also not a bad idea to have one for every result, you can never go wrong with both a screen shot and ORB URL.

Due to the nature of this benchmark currently there is no set standard for moderating results. Therfor hwbot takes each on a case by case basis. There are set limits on HD Startup, everything else has to be compared and judged.

Yes that's correct. If you see a result earning globals feel free to report/block. Other scores are moderated only when they look suspicious and you don't have the details to make a clear comparison. So basically don't go looking for results to report just for this reason or you'll annoy the moderators.

By hwbot standards that result is OK and will recieve points, there is the screen shot plus a valid published ORB link. As far as the competition goes (and I'm not sure who is judging entries) the rules specify MSI approved drivers. I'm not sure what they mean by that...maybe they mean FM approved drivers and if so, I think there may be grounds to review that submission. There is no rule about showing Coretemp in the screen shot, not sure where you got that idea. As with all competitions, each entry will need to be validated, only then can the winners be declared..

JorelleBR, We appreciate you bringing facts to our attention, but please stop bashing hwbot staff. We will look into each and every report and if given sufficient reason will take appropriate action when needed. If you can't see we are here working with the community then perhaps you should go. I don't want that, I don't ask that, it would be better if eveyone went away feeling like justice was done. That's why I ask you to keep it civil, continue to look into whatever you think we need to and bring it to our attention.
