  1. Thanks guys! Yes i am beyond relieved haha. Felt butterflys when i seen those numbers pop up.
  2. Bad news..for me. my sister down in philly had some troubles today, her car got involved in a hit and run while she was at work, from what im told the back end is a mess. So me and my father have to go down there tomorow with a car trailer and pick it up to bring back to my dads house to see what all is damaged and fix what needs to be, if possible. Im hoping everything goes quickly and i can come down to harrisburg sat night. If not then looks like sunday i should be there. Sucks but nothing i can do, life is life. Owell. Crying wont fix anything. Anyways, have fun everybody, and appologieze to those who were counting on using any of my loaner items, ik deeply sorry. Sorry for long post. I rambled.
  3. those look nice man good job, interested in price see if its even worth me making my own haha. also interested to hear about the copper heat sinks! keep up the good work.
  4. can someone explain the "CPU must be different" and GPUs must be different" part for dogpile? not sure if its so simple that i dont get it or its just going over my head lol. sorry if its been answered already. EDIT: disregard. i got the answer to this question already.
  5. 1.46v. it seems to be a combo of both the memory and CPU being overclocked. if i run my memory at defualt 3200Mhz, my CPU will only hit about 80c at the same voltage/overclock. going to get a 560 rad and a reservoir so i have more water in the loop.
  6. thanks man, GtiJason helped me ALOT lol. thanks! unfortunatly its my AIO thats hindering me. the little 360 predator cant handle the CPU overclock + memory overclock. im delided with TG conductonaut on the die and mx4 on the IHS.
  7. dunno what half this stuff is.....but i downloaded it all lol. thanks for compiling it and putting it all in one place.
  8. So then i guess changing the distance between the die and ihs had no effect on the cracking.
  9. sorry, poor wording on my part. should have said something more like. "apply lots of paste, bench untill it cracks(if it cracks), heat it up to fix the crack, continue."
  10. so has there been any positive results with the spacers yet? or is the final verdict to apply lots of paste, crack it, heat it and go to town?
  11. thanks for the info guys. ill work on the more weight thing. and its good to know Aluminum wont be a "poor" choice if that's the route i go, ill just have to leave a lot more material to make up for the material being lighter and less conductive .or something like that? anyways, spent a little time last night drawing up the rough drafts for the pots. (measurements are in inches) Copper pot(Cu base with Al top): Aluminum pot: (the internal slots are not finalized, still figuring all that out) really difficult to not make them be direct "knock offs" of the pots available from retailers, not really much i can do about it though...ill try and figure something out, i hate "copying" peoples parts without their consent. anyways ill mess with them some more. need to do some math's and figure out an estimated weight for each pot with no internal machining and figure out exactly what sort of surface area i can get without going to light.
  12. thanks bass. haven't been able to make any progress on the back plate yet since machines are always tied up at work. but i just got a "couple" of these from @bartx, so going to draw up a ram pot now and whenever a machine opens up ill knock out the backplate and two ram pots. probly going to just use aluminum for the ram pots, easier to machine....less expensive as well. and if they dont work good then ill just suck it up and make them out of copper.
