  1. Advice: Try to make it as good as possible, I've had a few people pass me in similar situations because I did very little effort just to get the 2 points. And then it gets annoying... du a REALLY slow bench for 0.4 points is frustrating:p But: a 2 point score could be great as well, one of my best scores is the 2.2 point Opteron 154 CPUZ validation:)
  2. He doesn't answer the "what's wrong with the HWBot-system"-questions as he knows there's nothing major missing;)
  3. If you never asked us to do this, then what's all the whining about? You got what you asked for: no F1OC at HWBot, so you should be happy about the fact that it's removed. Most people are unhappy with parts of F1OC, why do you think we should act differently? As for the "HWBot not being ready"-argument... that's a load of crap, and you know it. Your microsite doesnt even have proof that the submissions were made before the deadline - which is much more important than PSU prices and stuff like that. If the system HWBot made wasn't good enough, I cant see that the excel style page is either.
  4. That's pretty good with one stick I think;) Any clue on how much you'd get with triple channel?
  5. I'm supposed to write a paper these days, but all these great scores makes it impossible to focus on it:p Thanks for ruining my education by getting all those lovely points for PURE:D
  6. 0.086 FPS GT2:D hahaha. That's ~12s pr frame:o But nice score anyway, you got da G0LD MAN:woot:
  7. I think the name for it is just a name... maybe there was a reason behind it, but I know alot of people who use the phrase "junk food", but wouldnt think of the burgers etc as "junk". It's still amazing how this type of food often have a better taste than what's regarded as "proper food". Taste matters to me, not the price tag or if a chef with a mustache and a heavy salary made it and put it on a fancy plate;)
  8. Hot wings make me fly:p A friend of mine puked from a bad burger at Burger King once, he told me. In general I would say that if the majority of the customers get ill after eating their food, they have a problem. So these kind of happenings are just exceptions to the rule - normally the food is well prepared;)
  9. Double cheese is the best burgerr ever made... The McD one:D BK is nice, too - but it doesnt taste McD of their burgers:( I wish we had KFC here, I tried it in Berlin once and it was awesome.
  10. Damn I'll celebrate at McDonalds the day it's gone... I'm SO tired of those **** submissions that end up in the wrong categories... have a 4000+ sd score that always ends up in the 4000+ clawhammer category, stealing a cup. Same with an i7 920 score that goes to Opteron 866 - and two more I cant remember. I dont even bother moving them, too much work. I just block:p What's weird is that no team captains have contacted me about these scores...
  11. I'll move the scores tomorrow. Sorry for the wait.
  12. ...so a 400 bclk result would be perfectly fine as well?
  13. IMO this should be the only time you have a poll like this, unless you can't vote for your own team/nationality. It's obvious that these two things will count more than the effort when you decide where to put the vote.
  14. 3x to 4x-scaling hasn't been too great, so you can still compete at some level with only 3. But with 2 cards... no chance.
  15. The fact that he's banned on other forums doesnt mean he should be banned here... I believe most folks get a second chance when BUGGED results are submitted. Photoshop - or stuff like that - is a different story.
  16. Allright, I thought that was the "only" default solution:p I'll let some more experienced PCMark mods decide what's right or wrong here.
  17. It says default settings, which is a fixed resolution (1024x768)
  18. I guess some tests would give some "way off" numbers if he was running the wrong res.
  19. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. When the time is ready
  20. I agree with alot of what you say, but at some point a statement must be made I think. Perhaps not now, but I believe alot of benchers will react at some point in the future if this type of sessions become more popular.
  21. We shouldn't talk to a user who follows the rules, asking him to not enable points for a perfectly legal score is... wrong. This is not a loophole either, unless my definition of that word is wrong. I think of a loophole as an unintentional "workaround", which is not the case here as we are aware of the situation and can't do anything about it (apparently). I just hope the community itself will set a standard of what's acceptable and what's not
