  1. Add Z170-P D3 & Z170M-E D3 * Z170-P D3 8002 * Z170M-E D3 8003 Sorry about the delay
  2. Yeah all is there, even has a header which will allow you to use slow mode, retry and safe mode. Especially DRAM OC is unmatched, did 32M with Samsungs at 1333MHz 9-11-11-24-1T.
  3. You might want to check out ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura, I've been doing some work on development of the board and from my tests it's been equal or better than the Crosshair for overclocking.
  4. Same bios for Strix v1 with SHE VRM controller and Hynix memory https://copy.com/DfKL6xQ1RaIR8RfC
  5. You can check if LN2 mode is enabled with this software https://copy.com/CGLgUGdHMNFMiqIY
  6. Latest is 1.1.6.9: http://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/MATRIX-GTX980TI-P-6GD5-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/ Also did you short LN2 mode pads? Without this the BIOS switch has no function.
  7. Yes, I get 200% power limit. Do you have LN2 mode enabled? Which version of GPUTweakII?
  8. New LN2 bioses, improves memory overclocking. Also works for Strix 980Ti with Digi+ ASP1212 VRM controller, does NOT work with cards using SHE VRM controller. Ask if unsure. m980ti_ln2t3s.rom = Samsung m980ti_ln2t3h.rom = Hynix https://copy.com/mUeu8OHRe9K72Dla OCP fix will not be made public since it's only needed at max freq on LN2 with 1.8V+. In any other situation it's not a problem and only increases the risk of your card being damaged.
  9. I think it's cause most scores on retail are just random chips, still there are a few decent ones around http://hwbot.org/submission/3095736_namegt_gpupi_for_cpu___1b_core_i3_6100_8min_14sec_87ms/ http://hwbot.org/submission/3090385_achill3us_gpupi_for_cpu___1b_core_i3_6100_8min_20sec_723ms/
  10. GPU-Z Memory Type field will tell you, for example GDDR5 (Hynix). Might be incorrect if you flashed non default bios however.
  11. Add a few more * Z170-K 0602 * Z170-P 8001 * Z170M-Plus 8001
  12. Hmm, works here. Can you try to reflash using BIOS flash back in case IME is corrupt?
  13. If you can go to 106 then it's working for sure. Can you try to disable SVID and set a fixed Core Voltage like 1.35V?
  14. Should be enough, have not tested the bios myself for Ranger though. See if 0001 works for you https://copy.com/0wZxkhbrYHzjT2Rz
  15. Added Hero Alpha & Formula, plus 0002 bioses which support Windows XP. * Maximus VIII Ranger 0002 * Maximus VIII Hero 0002 * Maximus VIII Hero Alpha 0002 * Maximus VIII Gene 0002 * Maximus VIII Formula 0002 * Maximus VIII Extreme 0002 * Maximus VIII Impact 0002
  16. It's not available, not sure it will be. Hopefully.
  17. Add Ranger * Maximus VIII Ranger 0001
  18. AVX not likely, Intel needs to fix it or we need to find a whole new way to unlock these chips. XP support maybe but can't promise anything. Yes, you're limited to those 2-3 multipliers with these bioses.
  19. Not sure yet. You cannot change multiplier after bootup, one of the quirks of this method. You can choose ratio by selecting "Boot Performance Mode" - Max Battery = lowest possible = 8x - Max Non-Turbo = CPU specification multiplier, depends on model. On some this will be same as Max Turbo. - Max Turbo = Highest possible ratio BTW, also add these boards * Z170 Pro Gaming 1301 * Maximus VIII Ranger 0001
  20. Guys, BIOSes are here! * Maximus VIII Hero 0001 * Maximus VIII Gene 0001 * Maximus VIII Extreme 0001 * Maximus VIII Impact 0001 * Z170-DELUXE 0050 * Z170-A 0050 * Z170-E 0050 This is not an official ASUS BIOS, only enables base clock overclocking on non-K CPUs. Don’t use this for K-series CPUs. It might damage your hardware, no guarantees provided. Issues found so far * No IGPU * No dynamic change of CPU frequency * No C-states * No Turbo Mode * CPU temperature reading is incorrect * AVX instructions have very low performance * Windows XP ACPI not supported After flashing set the following settings to make it boot into OS with correct CPU speed Advanced\CPU Configuration - Boot Performance Mode -> Turbo Performance Advanced\CPU Configuration\CPU Power Management Configuration - Intel® SpeedStep -> Disabled - CPU C states -> Disabled
  21. Just tested it quickly, straight boot http://valid.x86.fr/wsjpwm
