  1. The previous sub is replacing this one, so we can't compare it sir. The time stamp is an idea, we have a few days to find a plausible solution to avoid this silly behavior. Adding CPU-Z rule (version 1.91 and newer) is another option but backdraw is that older legacy platforms can't even load 1.6+ CPUZ. So another viable solution might be a background, which some might forget,.... Adding a note pad as Stavros suggests is also an option ( but pretty easy to paint into an existing one ) Keep the ideas coming
  2. Half way the moderating, some missing backgrounds, covered benchmark settings or missing CPUZ tabs, same stuff another year
  3. Happy New Year everyone, may your clocks be high and your RMA rates low. That's the good news HWBot crew brings you in 2020. The bad news is we see our Italian bencher Delly resubbing old scores to climb up the seasonal ladder of 2020. Sorry but this rule bending will NOT be approved, nor appreciated by the moderators neither the community. Only way to counteract is to impose a new rule to the evergrowing list: Current proposals: ALL SUBMISSIONS FOR SEASON 2020 WILL HAVE TO HAVE: THE YEAR OF 2020 IN THE SCREENSHOT or USAGE OF CPUZ 1.91+ or IMPOSE A BACKGROUND or ADDING NOTEPAD WITH NAME AND DATE or A COMBO OF THE AFOREMENTIONED. I give everybody a few days for those that still have backup scores to submit these, but from next week (06/01/2020) the new timestamp becomes mandatory to avoid future abuse. If detected by the moderating team a user ban and removal of that score will take place! Don't blame us for another annoying addition to the existing rules but applaud the act of your fellow bencher! 4. Final warning Delly, resubbing old scores is not the way to get seasonal points!
  5. Are you benching or resubbing old scores? If its the latter we will stop all seasonal points being attributed!
  6. I guess their bios engineers think these are pretty nomal lol There's more logic in these than ASUS numbering fyi
  7. Happy New Year all, very strong scores all around, Always amazing to see some old records getting obliterated again. Very strong lineup for some countries. Back to daily biss now, first cleanup of the house, dishes, iron my face and then moderating.
  8. Test the Noctua first before buying anything else. I have a gut feeling it might be the block or even the complete unit. I had a similar experience with testing Ryzen setups on my high end EK DIY setup, with a waterblock perfectly handling 5960X@4.8 and 6950X at 4.6 daily.
  9. Is there a boxed Wraith fan included, I strongly suggest to give that a spin. Temps are way too high no matter how good the specs of that Swiftech kit look on paper. Maybe the block is too restrictive in flow for the pump to handle. This particular waterblock also might not be good enough for this gen of CPUs
  10. Honestly how frustrated and sour can some people get. Constant name calling, bashing and flaming derails any thread. Turning something constructive into a very destructive thing that just leads to more anger and boiling blood. If you tell us that you are not into it for the points than plz act that way then and don't constantly make a fool of yourself by contradicting yourself in each thread you post in. I have told this before some really need to look into the mirror and perform a self analysis of what they are, have become and want to achieve in this hobby and their life. For your info, the site and forums are being monitored, our current acting is not gonna help these people to maybe invest in our community. If you want it to pop, I kindly suggest you to just leave via the exit door and get another hobby instead of being a keyboard warrior. If this bashing stays the bad apples will be removed so the rest can just do what they love to do. Thread closed (again), final warning, the banhammer is being readied
  11. Looking at your new argumentation why would make it difference if you move the date if the amount of vacation days and co stays the same... you would still require to sacrifice family time. I would strongly suggest to try to do a proper planning between the different teams, there's not even a need if you have enough active benchers to do gatherings. They make it more fun ofc, but usually if your are not focused, some people just bench the entire benchmark suite on their CPU or GPU iso just benching to maximize that one score... Country Cup has been in Q4 for a decade, you know which period it comes, hardware specs and most stages were well known in advance this year. I have to do the same for Computex year after year, arranging stuff at work and at home to ensure I can go... But I want to go and that's why I make it happen!
  12. Most members but seems not many want to defend the flag... you only need a max 5 sores and with hundreds of active benchers you guys could easily dominate Country Cup We have the same stuff here in Europe, end terms & festivities all over the place in December. Man we move family aside a few weekends to bench with others, pretest or bench each nite individually. Dedication, planning and determination is what is required to win Team Cup or Country Cup. Honestly this ain't merely a Bot date issue but maybe more a regional attitude problem. Hopefully my post makes the blood boil and you guys will be back with a vengeance! Nuff said, Q4 it was and still is
  13. 13 to 12 is still a win, did you also subtract the mod that didn't vote for Q4 ? Or do you need 75% of the votes to get a win... 15 or 13 peeps want it to stay in Q4 that's how I look at the vote with sheer peasant logic. Now if eg. 12 voted for Q1 we could have changed, in this case we stick to the current format with minor changes to move it
  14. My look at the poll, Country Cup remains unchanged it will be Q4 in 2020... Too bad maybe some of them unhappy people didn't vote. Majority wins, this aint politics Anyway if we cut the challengers by one week we can move around a tiny bit to have it easily completed before Xmas
