I.nfraR.ed - DDR SDRAM @ 273MHz - 630.5 marks MaxxMem

Most of the guys with old scores have absolutely no fault. I've updated my score and with old version I get 790 vs 710 with same settings and timings. -

Yes, there was a latency bug in some of the versions, probably 1.82. Didn't test, but it appeared when you boot at higher clocks and then clock down the fsb a notch or two within OS. Rules on hwbot say we should use the latest official version, which seems to be 2.01, but on the hwbot site 1.95 is linked. It seems these records will never be broken. -

How are we supposed to compete with older scores done with v1.82? -

Don't worry, I will try 6.6+ GHz this weekend -
The fact he moved to XOC doesn't solve the "problem" for me either. It doesn't matter which league you belong to. Trying to fool people is still not acceptable. I guess people are asking themselves if the cooling is chilled water indeed, then how that screenshot was produced? Because the frequency is really hard to believe. If the cooling is something else like LN2, then he was lying from the beginning. Either way, it is not good. A simple video showing gpu running even at lower fequency than 1100, plus cooling and temps would be enough. In my opinion, if I had such a great card, I'd want to show it in every possible way

Yes, with disabled OCP max vGPU is 1.6V. But that's another story. I wonder why the old submission was deleted and then re-uploaded? Old comments there are now lost... Noone have ever seen such strong 4850, wonder what it would do on LN2, 1300+? That's all, we are curious and want more info. It doesn't matter you have moved to XOC league...

Memory frequency is not unbelievable, I've had Gainwards hit 1380-1400 with Samsung 0.8ns at 2.3-2.4V, but 1110 on the core is highly unbelievable. That's why I want to know more details. All 4850s I've tested were not able to hit 1GHz mark on low ambients (but not too low). Guess I would hit 1GHz with subzero air temps, but that's all about it. For higher frequencies you'd definitely need SS/DICE/LN2.

Nice, you beat tiborrr! I had no LN2 and time, but my cpu should be able to run 3d @ 6.7-6.8GHz. That would have been interesting -

Why not if it is running on an MSI mobo. It's basically similar to soldering a gpu provided by AMD on a MSI videocard PCB, but in this case it is on a socket. In both cases the gpu is manufactured by AMD. Plsu if you open GPUZ your integrated vga will have the mobo vendor. Not to mention that if your card is a reference model it might be produced by e.g. Sapphire and MSI put only a sticker on it. -
It's not a paintjob, it's a firebug

That's what Massman has to say about it:
