Roman (der8auer) didn't like it in his review and according to the charts it is not good, but in my experience it is good (talking about Ceramique 2, not 1). Don't see much difference between Ceramique2 and Gelid, while the first one is so much cheaper for the big syringe. Btw, I spread it on a warmed up pot (with a heatgun) prior to mounting, then after mounting the pot, I run the system on empty pot until the cpu heats up too. I get a perfect mount every time. PS: I change it every time, too. Wipe old paste, clean cpu and pot with isopropyl alcohol, then reapply paste.

In my testing noctua is not good for LN2 - I had much worse maximum clock on 3770K @ full pot compared to Ceramique 2 and Gelid. And I've tried 2-3 remounts. It is good for SS, but not LN2. I don't know, it could be just me, but that's what I've experienced.

Could it be considered as an option for a member to join legacy series in addition to some of the others? -

I think this year TeamCup will include Ati (Radeon) subcompetition like the Nvidia last year and most probably there will be hwbot prime subcompetition . -
Nice! These are funny cards, no?

Last day delivery of S25 allowed us to get #3 place overall, otherwise we had no card for 03 stage. Congrats to the winners, now waiting for the real deal -

Win7 x86 and jre8 is fastest for me, but the difference with jre7 was very small or close to non-existent. Also the first thing I tried was to rerun the benchmark without closing it. Memory ferquency and timings does not matter. -

Yes, the only S3 Chrome available on ebay is the S25. Anyway, I don't have the resources to compete, so good luck to other teams. -
Looking for universal northbridge pot, such as K|ngP|n NB-1/NB-2. Others could work as well, as long as they have universal mounting and are similar in size. Shipping to Bulgaria, preferably withing EU to minimize shipping cost. Price: depends on the unit, but no more than $40 for the KingPin NB-2 pot. ebay account for reference: infraredbg

Yes, 6.6+ should be possible, but I need LN2 on the NB, because the board is unstable at high cpu + high htt clocks. Last time it helped for wprimes, pi and pifast. -

Sam, it's not a "frequency monster", it just has a well balanced modules, although 3rd CU (CU2) is a little worse than the others. Frequency wise, it is ~8.23GHz on second CU. I've seen 8.25, but could not save it. With a better TIM it might be possible, but it's not better than my old FX-8350. That's my only FX-9xxx ever tested, so I can't tell for sure, but based on my experience, these chips should be more balanced, since they are required to run higher clocks on which FX-83xx almost always fail (or require excessive voltage) due to some weak CU. Nevertheless I will try pi 1M and 32M next time. Had no XP set up at that session. High CPU-NB clock should help. Just for reference, 4GHz required 1.45V on the CPU-NB. -

I use Ceramique v2 most of the times and it performs good, although Gelid GC-Extreme is a little bit better (but not much in my testing, at least for me). Gelid is too expensive and not available here, so I have to import it. -

Thanks. More should be possible, but I spent most of the time on Cinebenches. And I used Ceramique v1, had nothing else. -

It even gets killed by a single-core Yonah and Penryn at 2.3-2.66GHz. Not sure what's wrong, it looks worse than the difference in SuperPi by a big margin. I will freeze mine for CB R15 anyway, so will do a couple of hwbotprime runs too.
