OS is optimized for Rocket Lake mainly. You'll want to use InSpectre for previous Intel gens. For Cascade Lake-X/Coffee Lake-R/Comet Lake-S you will want to use a bios with modified/removed microcode for all benchmarks. For Comet Lake-S specifically, there is a patch that will need to be ran at logon of any user with Task Scheduler for the use of no-ucode bioses, see the XII Apex thread for more details. @TaPaKaH Do you know anything about 2000 8-8-8 with BBSE, 2133 8-9-8 with Hyper, or 2200 9-9-9 with PSC? Or any other weird sets with SNs that claim to use ICs that generally aren't found in a specific bin.

With an Extreme, you can probably still run 4k c12 1t with 8x8gb.

@noizemaker Are there any known beta bios for the Crosshair VIII Impact that were made between 2702 and 3003? Before the 1.1.8.0 AGESA update, to support Cezanne CPUs, but still after ReSize BAR and AMD SAM was implemented. Maybe a later 27XX bios, more likely 28XX or 29XX. Edit: I see 3001 now. What AGESA does it use?
