Go ahead and reveal those backups

That's true, but I meant chip 2 is considered a "strong aio" chip. Most of my testing is done on air, maybe switch to water soon, so I want to know what that binning criteria would be.

What is considered strong on AIO for Rocket Lake?

Rocket Lake 5 GHz 32M LCC

@Leeghoofd I'd say one combined comp, both with and without benchmate allowed. There's been some discussion on if Win10 w/ Benchmate is faster than WinXP -

For Apex 12 and RKL, there's 0009, 0031, 0611, 0098, and now 2101? https://www.overclock.net/threads/overclocking-11700k-11900k-results-bins-and-discussion.1777365/page-55#post-28765833 I'm guessing then 0009 early, 0611 is release version of 0031, 2101 is release version of 0098? @noizemaker Any idea? -

@sweeperscafaik it does -
making this thread for future posters btw you can remove microcode from Z590 bioses with MMTool same as you can with Z490 not sure if it only affects Comet Lake or not Here's F5a for the Tachyon with microcode removed, I'd like for someone here to try with vs without on a Comet Lake and a Rocket Lake chip in Geek 3 and Cine R20. Keep in mind you'll probably still need to use that patch exe thing in OS that was used for Z490. F5a_microcode_removed.rom

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K3JPyAe-3ki2rUTTvCo-38b-BgNMZC8b/view?usp=sharing Awesome! I have an OS that could help with score posted elsewhere on the forums. Also, you could use these mem settings as a guide if you re-run and are determined to run 1:1. Should still be possible with dual rank, GDM Disabled could potentially be difficult but idk. tRCD 11 and tRP 9 are def possible at 3933, tCWL 9 might as well. I'd personally recommend running unlinked, as a memory score of ~11k should definitely be possible with your CPU. Haven't heard about unlinked and dual rank, though.

X299/Z170M OCF and the box of memory look tempting Have OC/binning results with any of it?
-
@M1RR0R Multicore performance is alright, still well behind a 5800x at 4.6ghz, even when running low memory clocks 1:1 Pump some more vdimm and run some more aggressive timings? I've seen 5600 19-28-28-28-31 580 1t before. I've also seen 5800 ambient mem before. Maybe turn off Windows power saving features and pagefile as well?

https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1HFekj6cGZlLn2EHtbTKkTPjPWVRhjgcC Included are XOC bioses for the: B550 Tomahawk/Unify/X/Gaming Edge Wifi, B550M Mortar/Wifi, X570 Ace/Unify/Godlike It's likely that these are older bioses, probably AGESA 1100D or older. Still pretty cool that XOC bioses were made for lower end boards.
