  1. I can test, any special wishes (which kit/what mobo/voltage/frequency). At least I recall that Crucials did ~550 CL4 with 2.2.
  2. I have about 10 sticks of Ballistix 667C3, on DFI P35/Asus X38 they do up to 400-420 CL3 with 2.2 easy, but I fear that 2.1 on ASRock VSTA is like <2.0 on one of those above and 400 CL3 is difficult. @trodas - I see that you're quoting my offer of Team 800 C3 I still have them, although I only tested them on Gigabyte EP45-UD3R, which has this unique ability of running mems like no other board. Besides, those Teams are binned for 800 CL3-3-3-8 @2.3V.
  3. I used DI for RAM and CPU on Z97 OCF, I have kneaded eraser around socket covered with paper towel, armaflex and some more towels. For RAM I cover unused slots with electric tape and put paper towels everywhere around EK modules and pot, I never got moisture in 24-pin with that, but I believe that for LN2 it might not be enough.
  4. What do you consider as good cold scaling for Haswell? I had a few G3258 and a 4690K, and I saw 200-400 MHz increase in max frequency with the same voltage when going from air to SS. I tried DI, but it didn't give anything probably due to TIM. Questions: 1. 400 increase from air to SS - good or not enough? 2. How does it look with i5/i7? 3. What more can I gain doing LN2, is it proportional to temp drop? 4. How does delidding impact cold scaling? To be more precise - I measure "increase" in a following way: first do SuperPi 32M at maximum stable settings on air (for example 4800 1.4 vcore), then change to phase, go up with frequency without changing volts and keep running 32M until it fails. Then it's just subtracting one number from another.
  5. Thank you all for great competition, it was a lot of fun, and next time I will start preparing earlier than a week before end.
  6. Clear. I am surprised to see myself on 7th out of 43 even though I missed 3D stages.
  7. Grrrrrr I'm unable to run PCMark04... even on stock settings crashes to desktop after test 6 and that's it for my domination in this round.
  8. Please allow 7850 for stages 4 and 5, after all it's below R9 290
  9. 1 kit of Crucial2 #5 reserved.
  10. Price drop: 40 euro 25 euro 30 euro 25 euro 30 euro per kit 30 euro
  11. It seems that's a black weekend for DFI boards, I tested my two boards yesterday (LP and Infinity) and both seem to be dead, no boot. They have been lying in the closet for a year and boom, surprise.
  12. Thanks, I already made 6100, but the CPU's getting too hot, BIOS reads between -3 and 0 with 6100 frequency and 1.75 vcore need to check evap's contact and thermal paste. I have second CPU to test, the other one is not that hot and survived voltages up to 1.875V on air (reads 85-90 idle with 1.85V temps compared to 85 with 1.7V on this one)
  13. Bump - no one interested in a decent D9GMHs?
  14. Dear Friends, I gathered too many Micron D9GMH/D9GKX at home and I need to part with them: I tested them on GB EP45-UD3R and I aimed for 1M stable as I was targeting max clock. I booted either 640 555 @2.4 or 680 666 @2.5, entered Windows and worked my way up with SetFSB 5 MHz at a time running Pi1M after each change. Failed binning - the mems didn't boot at those settings or failed 1M. The exception is for Transcends as I used them for benching and they do 615 32M stable. All the sticks are used, so some of them might have usual marks or scratches The contents of the box are: a kit of Team 1300C6 - working, both sticks fail binning, they can do 650 5-5-5-15 @ 2.4 a kit of Team 1300C6 - one stick does 750 6-6-6@2.6, second one is the one I did 811 MHz, but needs reballing due to my lousy attempt of removing the HS a kit of Team 800C3 - one stick fails binning, does specs, second one did 720 5-5-5 @ 2.4 but didn't like CL6 a kit of Transcend 1066 - one of my benching kits, 615 5-5-5 @ 2.2 stable, I didn'tpush them further two kits of Crucial 667C3 (16FD4) - all of them do around 700 5-5-5 @ 2.4, they don't like CL6, 650+ dual channel capable a kit of Crucial Lanfest 800 - both capable of 680 5-5-5 @ 2.4, also 650+ dual channel capable Asking prices (without shipping costs): 40 euro 25 euro 30 euro 25 euro 30 euro per kit 30 euro I am also asking 200 euro if you want whole box. All items are fully working unless said otherwise and are sold as seen on pictures. I provide no warranty and I accept no returns because I am private seller. As it comes to OC, your mileage might vary, as it depends on large number of factors, including luck. I am from Poland, so I prefer an EU trade to avoid issues with shipping and customs - shipping costs will be between 5 and 15 euro depending on item size and destination (to be agreed with buyer). Payment via PayPal only. In case of questions, please PM me
  15. @Massman: I asked in a different thread, but I didn't see the answer - can I use HD 5850 in this stage? It's definitely slower than 750 Ti.
  16. Good result, once you get your windows straight it will be hard to beat that result.
  17. It was actually the one shipped dead, too bad it didn't want to work. @ObscureParadox: that's a cool idea
  18. Thank you HWBOT and Futuremark, it's very nice of you.
