  1. Thats not very good then sorted by memory. A large percentage of Performance 775 boards were DDR3
  2. I wont get that high and the Dogpile winner probably wont win it there are 29 other stages as well
  3. That was to be expected I dont mind the start being at the start of the month though. I also dont think anyone should know what the stages are going to be till they are put up on the day that makes it even for everyone. But saying that I also dont like the get a certain target score like in a GPU round last year Cloudgate Target 250 thats just first in best dressed if a team doesnt see that the minute it opens well they have no hope. Also shorter and less stages in Teams Cup NO it is great the way it is dont change it.
  4. I did too but understand OSisBS is a teams competition you changed teams.
  5. I have a Mobile Athlon 64 2800+ Oakville Socket 754. Its not in the Database 3000+ Oakville is. Can it be added please. http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K8/AMD-Mobile%20Athlon%2064%202800%2B%20-%20AMD2800BKX4LB.html Thankyou
  6. I am just wondering seeing as we have had a team name change from Classic Platforms to Warp9 and we have had our points removed from the first 4 rounds. Both of the benchers that earned the points were Kotori and Myself who are both now on Warp9 could we have them reinstated as Warp9 as it takes away the will to try hard to win with Round 5 and the Bonus Round and maybe take the win overall.
  7. You better read the rules and look at how the screenshot is supposed to be presented.
  8. I dont mind if Tasos submission is reinstated I only reported it because it was the wrong screenshot.
  9. Big spending isn't the thing its finding and modifying the adaptors to work in the right board thats the trick.
  10. Mobile CPU's are Socket 479 not 478 so Mobile CPUs shouldn't be allowed. As for 478 CPUs in other boards I think that would be allowed its the CPU thats specified not the Board.
  11. Can someone tell me how to get a validation link for maxxmem. There is no where to upload a datafile on the MaxxPI site. Registration to the site is not real good, use the contact page, write what you want your Username to be and they will send you back an email telling you what password to use to which I haven't received a reply. Anyhow where do you logon anyway I dont even see anywhere to log on. So I thinks no worries I will connect the machine to the net and just upload straight from there and a webpage will open and I will just copy the address. No that dont happen either a green bar goes across the maxxmem score window with "Upload to MaxxPI successful" what so I go to the MaxxPI website the last validation there is on the 3rd of December. So I dont know I have run out of ideas. I can submit the run to the database no problems here http://hwbot.org/submission/3116271_ Just cannot submit here because of this Validation Link that plainly does not work. Can one of the moderators check this out and when you find out how to do this validation link let me know.
  12. Ah my subs got removed because no mainboard tab. Not to worry I was going to run them again. And I have to show a SPD tab.
  13. It says it in the rules you have copied and pasted. CPU-Z Mainboard tab, for submissions made with motherboard IGP (=/= CPU IGP)
  14. I have just read through all of this and I dont see how changing the team points scoring system which will chop some of the smaller teams off at the knees is going to promote Team collaboration it is just going to piss teams off that have been working hard for their team ranking. Instead of changing the point system as it stands leave it be and people that primarily bench for team points can continue to do so without their team being dropped in the rankings. I am sure that we can all agree that the Road to Pro series is a roaring success but its every man for himself so why not next year you run 3 competitions just like the Teams Cup in parallel or staggered with the Road to Pro series and the points gained from each stage would be added to the team points instead of to the individual overclockers or the overclockers could get points too. Lets face it there is nothing like a Competition to get everyone active and if there is Team Based Competitions for most of the year there will be Team Collaboration. Because at the moment there is only 1 competition in the year that is team based and thats the Team Cup the Country Cup is not really team based I bench for an American team and I am an Australian but if there is something I can do for Australia in the Country Cup I will be benching it. All in all if you want more team collaboration you will get it with more team based competitions. Now if I have got this right I am thinking of investing in Skylake next week and 2 people on my team have already got them so if I get a less than great chip and I submit slower scores than my teammates I am only going to hurt the team average correct. So why would I submit with it at all if its not a great chip. In fact it makes me even wonder if its worth getting it. Is that the Team Collaboration we are all after. Just my 2 cents worth.
  15. I cant submit in 3D05 its open for submissions but when I try to submit. The submission uploads then I get a blank page.
  16. Sounds good I have no preference, what ever comes up I will be in. I have got most things back to Socket7 and Geforce2/Radeon7000
  17. The rules are pretty straight forward about what has to be included in the screenshot both 2D and 3D and if its in a wrapper you have to include CPUZ GPUZ requirements before you save the Data file. If your machine is running like a wobbly boot after running the benchmark and crashes when you try to save the datafile then you have to get it stable enough to be able to do that. You are submitting it at HWBOT and you have to follow the rules here not the rules of the Competition that you were in. As for Vendetta's I dont think the moderators have enough time to think about that with all the subs they go through. I cant actually believe this has taken up 3 pages over 2 submissions we have all had subs blocked at one time another I am sure. Just my 2c worth
  18. Wish I had seen this thread before now. The Rookie / Novice league wasn't around when I first started but are a fantastic idea. I can understand that people drop off after coming off Novice and into enthusiast the answer is not to change the leagues but to have more competitions that is limited to watercooling as well as comps that are limited to Dice/SS There is not really any comps that are limited to watercooling for the enthusiast league so when you are out of novice the motivation isn't there anymore enthusiasts have to usually compete against the Extreme fella's. There dont really have to be big prizes competition points towards your league ranking is enough to motivate most. The same goes for getting enthusiasts over to Extreme have some comps limited to dice/SS it will be more more enticing to be able to compete with other people using Dice than seasoned pro's using LN2. Once you move to Extreme its a bit daunting to be competing with the top Extreme Fella's but if some comps are limited to Dice some of the top Extreme Fella's wont be bothered competing and it makes it a more even playing field for newcomers to Extreme. Different Comps with different cooling methods running at the same time will also keep the participants competing against the same level participants than entering in Comps that might not be suited to them. Just my 2c worth
  19. Okay I usually look for processors by Socket thats why I couldn't find it. Isn't it supposed to be under Socket FM2 and not Socket FS1?
  20. Can we add A8 5500 to the database I want to submit with it and it isn't listed. Thanks http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-A8-Series%20A8-5500.html
