naruto80 - GeForce GTX 460 (256bit) @ 1170/1175MHz - 58480 marks 3DMark05

I figured it out You are running 999MHz in reality. I just tried the same driver and the 999MHz cap is still there. Your score is a little bit higher than Amateurs because you have better GDDR MHz. -

You might be the only guy to get 4-series to OC properly on 300-series drivers.... congrats for that achievement too! -

Did you have to do anything special to get the GPU working over 999MHz? Nice score! -
Random idea: If there a way to form a competition/contest around categories/results where the top scores are really old and have wildly out-of-date "validation?" It's a much more interesting way of getting these "out of the public eye" without suggesting they're removed.

Voltmodded a card, went to pre-test it and discovered that ALL the trimmers had broken wipers. The chances of that happening are tiny! Thankfully open-circuit, not short-circuit.

Thanks for the info I was thinking more of XOC people are want a taste of the Pro league and/or have something very useful to contribute to a season. I wasn't thinking of it as a "get-out" clause for people who currently HAVE to be in the Pro league I think we/the community need to see this in action.... give it a try, THEN all will be clear

It's an opportunity for more guys to move to Pro. ESPECIALLY if the old-school hardware you are "scared" of just happens to be their speciality. You are talking like you still have to do all the work yourself bro. If there are mini-teams of three, choose people who bring skills or interests that you don't. It is ALWAYS easier to bench as a team instead of an individual..... if you pick the right people. Question for HWB admin..... these mini teams. Can people join and leave freely, as long as the scores stay in the Pro league? (under the pro league team name) (e.g..... if there was a UK team. Could I join for one season, then move back to XOC?)

.....is it a bigger job than I imagine? I know nothing of coding, so I can't appreciate the work involved in turning requests or suggestions I make into a change

Pretty sweet score Did you break 75K? -
How would it look if 3DMark 2000 and 99 Max were moved above Unigine? They look kinda lost in the Unigine list. (or.... just remove them totally???? :p) I like the pull-down menu on the result submission page! On a related but different note, highlighted by the picture Please can 3D06 moved above AM3?

If all the Pro league guys think the same as you, why do they not speak? You HAVE inspired many people bro, but you inspired them using the tools and the system that existed. If the method of HWBot had been different, it would have made no difference, you would still love OC, you would still talk about it to the people who listen. Do not be scared of change without 100% understanding what the change IS You can inspire people with Rev5, you just need to use different words to spread the message. Y'know.... the rules change in Formula1. The teams don't complain about the changes, they Man up and adjust, because it is still Formula1 and it is still what they love.

Request change of wording Hardware Masters League While the member hall of fame is dominated by people who use very expensive systems cooled with liquid nitrogen, the hardware masters league is dominated by people who have shown their skills overclocking affordable hardware using less life-threathening cooling methods. With literally one or two exceptions, the HML is just as full of LN2 as the XOC and pro league I think a much better explanation of the HML can be given. I mean..... it's all a users points for everything, from every category, ever. Question: what is the relevance of the HML? How would you explain it to a newbie and explain the difference between that and the global leagues + ranking -

So.....this is a 5800K competition? Question! "Each contestant is only eligible to win 1 (one) prize. Grand prize or weekly, no repeat winners If a contestant qualifies for multiple prizes, he/she will win the Grand Prize or the first weekly prize he/she qualified for" Does that mean that if someone wants to win the grand prize, they can only submit scores in week 4? -
