has anyone used there oc panel with the power card yet, working on modding a 980. Wanted oc panel to adjust hotwire. Is there a firmware for oc panel or does it just work? I know you can adjust with on board buttons but was thinking oc panel would be more convenient.

Thanks for sharing, I love my oc panels. I have an old power supply that I use for it with a paper clip, so that it's always on when using without asus mobo for hotwire

thanks a lot guys, was definitely a weird experience my first time benching any pascal card on cold.

ya I was trying to figure out how to hardmod the cold shutdown but figured I would hit cold slow if I went past that temp anyway, so I didnt go any further and just moved on to 8800 gts 640mb.

That's funny, that is the exact core I could reach with mine. Eventually just had to give up. Shutdown at around -45c every time. I tried to epower hoping it would bypass something but it didnt help. Someone mentioned trying to disable temperture monitoring but I couldnt find the ic and didnt have enough knowledge to figure out. Was so annoying because I spent so much time modding, firt vid mod and then epower.

yes just some extreme wishful thinking, this past year I think I had the most fun with my 6100 out of all the thousands of dollars worth of stuff I benched.
