  4. Pro OC members that participated in the Country Cup: - Massman - yoko - stummerwinter - Xtreme Addict - phil - Splave.ROM - Lucky_n00b - Amin_CaraGT2 - Crazzzy85 Of course no one is obliged to participate in any OC Cup and of course everyone can focus for the full 100% on the Hall of Fame of any benchmark. I'm looking forward to seeing new faces trying out the high-end OC competitions .
  5. K|ngp|n posted his comments in the beginning of the thread as well as at his Kingpincooling Facebook page. He's all-in for this. By the way, I'm currently residing in Taipei, so is he. Do you really think we didn't talk about this in-depth for weeks? Andre doesn't care about the Pro League in any shape or form, as he says.
  6. - Everyone that participate in either the Country Cup or Team Cup (+/ 400) is interested in forming such teams as the Pro OC Cup is the same principle essentially. - I think this will make pro overclocking more interesting because: #1, #26. - Really, now it's AMD that is forcing these changes ... You are right, this is definitely going ahead. Of course I'm still interested in hearing opinions on how to make the Cup more interesting . The gradual change can be done through the selection of hardware needed for the first season. If we choose stages that require pretty much the same hardware like people are using right now, the change will be gradual too.
  7. Actually, that's a very bad suggestion. The whole point of getting rid of the league and introducing the cup is to make a very complex and uncomprehensible system more transparent and easier to understand to people outside of the inner circle of overclocking. What you guys are suggesting is just making the whole damn system EVEN MORE difficult to understand by introducing even more types of points into the whole equation. That is NOT what overclocking needs! I'm putting my foot down on that one and there is no negociation. No additional complexity and definitely no multiple systems to maintain coding-wise just to make a compromise that brings us nothing but more chaos. Look, the league is gone and the cup is coming instead. That's a fact. No more points based on all benchmarks and unlimited timeframe for Pro OC. There will still be a ranking in the sidebar (where Pro OC is right now) with the current standings of the Pro OC Cup, like Dino suggested. There's not going to be any "old hardware" in the Pro League either. I don't know who keeps on saying that and why people would still believe that, even though I have written about a thousand times that it's not with old hardware. IT IS NOT WITH OLD HARDWARE! People that want to go back to XOC will be allowed to go back. But, of course, if you work for a vendor it's not possible to compete against people who don't. And if you guys want to do that discussion all over again, browse these forums to find other threads with hundreds of replies. A good example of a competition format can be found in the opening post. The ATP tennis ranking works like this: All tournaments/competitions which are per definition time-limited. There's no such thing as a "normal ranking". It's all competition-based.
  8. Seems like you have a bit of memory on your snow
  9. Don't forget to add 3DMark03.exe to the D3D Override support list!
  10. Result.txt is an essential part of the verification screenshot and the ORB validation link is not an alternative. I think the official rules also say this (if not, let me know how I can make it more clear).
  11. BCLK has no effect on performance - it's just a reference clock, not data bus. So, the issue must be something else but somehow elevating the BCLK triggered it. Interesting!
  12. Because we don't have a "multi-socket supported" cell in the CPU model database, but we do have "unlockable" cell in the database. I think the suggestion is good, though. We can add that to our database without too much work, I think.
  13. HWBOT contact window at Gigabyte is currently out of office. Let me check if I can get ahold of somebody else
  14. Can you make a screenshot of the issue? I assume it's related to entering "1T" in the memory timings box.
  15. I was just informed the Extreme6 board will arrive in Indonesia next week :woot:
  16. First set of pictures are uploaded to Gigabyte's facebook. If you have any wintery pictures, make sure to upload them https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151189338522120.448105.209090107119&type=3
  17. Small update - I am done with the UD7 at the moment, trying the UD3 to see if I can push the HTT clock a little bit higher. Seems to be working fine: The UD7 was stuck at 335MHz HTT frequency. That board has a 6-layer PCB. The UD3 can easily do 350MHz HTT and has 4-layer PCB. I think it's obvious why I am trying the UD3, not much more explanation is needed. The efficiency on this board is off for some reason, I think I'll have to re-install the OS to get the right efficiency back. That will be something for later this week, though. Next objective is to see if I get my good PiFast run back (17.4x) and then Super PI 32M.
  18. Added to buglist Fixed. Only with thumbnails, right? When clicking on the thumbnail it should show the correct screenshot, I think. Added to buglist.
  19. There used to be a banner on the CPUID website informing people there was a new version in-bound. Is it no longer there?
  20. The scores are from 2007. Back then, this was a valid screenshot.
  21. Yes, black slot is needed for highest performance in single card with UP7. Some info that might be useful:
  22. Computex is Haswell launch. It's gonna be interesting!
  23. Believe me, AMD Taiwan is actively pushing these types of events
  24. Just to clarify, for the CPU-Z stage discrete graphics are allowed! So not just APU.
