Okay, thanks for clearing that up -
The official MSI MOA 2014 Grand final thread.
Lucky_n00b replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Competitions
Question: Does this mean: 1) Maximum 2(two) person of same country qualified, one from class A, one from class B. or 2) Maximum one person of same country qualified for MOA, either from Class A or Class B.(And in this case of one person only, if there's 2 candidates, one from class A and one class B from one country, which one got qualified?) Thanks, -

Omedetou Gozaimasu Hideo-san, Nice BCLK & great run! -

Thanks Hideo-san, But believe me this CPU is far from 'crazy', it's an average CPU which maxxed out at 6.1Ghz 1M :D. The memory should be able to be pushed more, but now the CPU refused to do the same settings so I give up x_x -

No tweaks man, Every setting done on BIOS(except BCLK), got the RAMs nice and tight on the subtimings, on a fresh install Win 8.1 x64. Actually this is one of those 'lucky runs' that somehow got bigger score. On average, this setting yields 1292 to 1298 score. On this particular run it got 1303. -
Less stages than previous years (thank God ). I quite like the arrangement of this cup, not too expensive hardwares, good combination between old, new, and 'bizzare' hardware. Some interesting stages(32GB Mem Frequency, Snapdragon 800, Tegra 4, & Rpi Prime). Will try to give our best this year. Good Luck to Everyone!

Computex 2014: Who Is Going? Where are the OC events!

Whoa, the number of overclockers attending Computex this year is getting more and more epic! Should we wear some specialized nametag with our hwbot nickname on it so we recognize everyone from the Bot? Haha -
The official G.SKILL OC World Cup 2014 Qualifier thread.
Lucky_n00b replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Competitions
Top 6 will be selected, so based on the CPU quality on the Kingston H.O.T Qualifier, I'll predict these 6 overclockers have good chance of entering the live finals: - Vivi - 8pack - XA - John Lam - Splave - DFORDOG Also Dancop, and TeamAU boys might have a good run for fire strike with their 780 Ti Anyway, would be really interesting competition to watch, Good Luck guys! :) -
@ Nacho: Thanks The card maxxed out already I think, I spent another 30L running it at 1720Mhz but it always crashed(or ocp'd) at the damn Raymarch test. The real GPU Voltage was 1.447V - 1.45V under load. Higher than 1.45V will give it OVP/OCP. @ Splave: Not just your limit Allen, looked like everyone who got the updated VRM firmware for Lightning have disturbingly similar limit. Rock stable at 1600-1700 @ 1.45V, and then hit a 'wall' and won't reach above 1700Mhz GPU(OVP/OCP when trying higher voltage).

How long should we stay after man? about 3 - 4 days after computex enough? More than that and I'll have to apply for special permission from my office -
Whoa, MOA 2014 already. time flies so fast What would be the hardware restrictions I wonder? No new cpu,but we can expect the refreshed motherboard with new chipset(z97?)...also would be a very interesting finals if they used X79 + DDR4

Computex? Definitely going Not sure if there's any OC show/competition/demos planned at this date yet though.. -
Something like 3DMark2000 on S3 Savage 4, TNT/TNT2's, and Voodoo 3 2000/3000? Hahah Now that'll bring back junior high school memories..

You're right, my memory about those hardwares are a bit hazy. The 300A's use mendocino cores is it?

Request some stage for Celeron Deschutes and Katmai Pentium III Slot 1s? Just find some in my old warehouse :D

Whoa, If XA won the Pi 32M Stage, he would be Champion already. Others probably won't catch up with such differences in points
