  1. Would be awesome if the QF7Z and QF81 made it to day 2 though
  2. Yep, just read my e-mails also Regular and Freestyle, that means 2 days of competition, should be interesting. *Finally they used the 2nd day to do something exciting * Btw, anybody knows what hardware will be provided?
  3. The sponsor logos changed again just now I guess it's going to take a while until a final decision is made
  4. Ahahahah, I do this once in my LN2 demos, and some of the users tried to put 2.2V on the VCore just to see what happens. Fortunately he didn't click the 'set' button Anyway, great event there Michal! (and nice pinky shirt LOL )
  5. I think it's pretty obvious doesn't it mate :D ? Although that said, I don't mind Haswell that much, if the frequency is binned to a close range like the SB-E last year..
  6. Thx for the info man, got my notification also :) Btw, it's quite fast for them to send Mobo and GPU now..is it going to be Haswell (with probably Mpower/Xpower) + 780 Lightning after all and not IVB-E?
  7. Ooh just look at those toys *drool* I'm reaaaaally hoping next year ASUS will make something like this on Global scale :D Hopefully the competition will go smoothly as planned, Good Luck and Have Fun guys
  8. Ok Cool bro, thanks October huh, can we speculate IVB-E is going to be in the finals?*crossing fingers* :D
  9. Thanks bro And if it's not too much to ask, can you kindly ask them if they have the date for the finals? That one I would also like to know, I haven't heard of any info about LOC's this year. But if there's an LOC using all-out Multi-GPU rule, this year's setup is going to be the scariest LOC setup ever. (3970X + 4x GTX Titan - that CPU and GPU only will cost more than USD 5000 X_X )
  10. My deepest respect for the winners on Class B, extremely fierce competition!!
  11. Damn, I think I just set the new low for GTX-Titan-Died-During-Stock-VRM-Benching club, GPU Died on me at 1.3V. There is a short somewhere on the VRM, and with that I'm pretty much done.. :( Let's see if I can push better 2D with these sucky retail CPU See ya guys in a couple hours then,
  12. I dunno mate, maybe bug with the GPU-Z? I tried reinstalling the driver but the it always detected as 'XP'
  13. Thanks bros, I'm still trying to get okay-ish retail 4770K though..All my retails maxxed out @ 5.8Ghz pi 32M X_X
  14. Reading a few pages back, I just can't understand why somebody would just point fingers to Massman and Vivi as if they're responsible for this set of annoying new rules. Vivi made this thread to ask for OPINIONs from different overclockers who passed the qualifier about the use of Titan and benchmark preferences. It turned out that majority ocers preferred that Titan is not used, But that DOES NOT affect the 'allow Titan' rule. So no harm done by the making of this thread here. If Massman already did try his best to explain things to MSI and MSI choose NOT to listen, then it's not massman's fault, isn't it? I totally agree that there's something that you cannot change no matter how hard you try, especially when it comes to dealing with 'high-up' people whose decisions does not come from deep understanding on how things work. I've been in many of those situation before, believe it or not. Moving on, I kinda have mixed feeling about MOA now, on one side I'm still glad there's a vendor who still cares about doing live overclocking for the OC community despite the 'drop' on Desktop PC Sales. But on the other, the new sets of rules made me loss interest on the semi-finals. Waiting for the final rules on the July 1st, let's see how it goes then..
