No problem at all, it is well known issue, I had this on big OCF already and everyone should know this by now, also Asus or MSI guys. I often also refer to BIOS voltage therefore, it is reliable landmark for me.

Good luck, you might run out of voltage though, 1,9v BIOS on MOCF is 1,98v real for me, so this can be a close call. IOLs look marvelous with IMC cold, definitely a good move

MSI and Hwbot agreed on core division to prevent 1700 euro Broadwell e dominate the XTU stage, stage 2 is hwbotprime and stage 3 is geekbench multi core full out with core division as well which gives another playing field again if you know which cpus can do best at this. I haven´t seen a more balanced competition by a vendor for a long time and I am seriously angry about people who see a small part of the picture and complain. We talk about a competition that gives prizes of value of around 2k euro even for third placed guy which you can do very good with an 1151 i3 cpu and people talk about fairness and even playing field? This is what is truely ridiculous

Solid run @subaruwrc, I had problems like this on several boards, if turbo boost boot doesnt work I used workaround with making profile with k cpu with static multiplier like 40, this got max multi and bclk going for me at non k cpus for xtu. Other option is at least on Asrock for example to boot blck below 101 and raise the base clock in OS

Solid, the duals were removed, the new entry complies to rules 100% - on the skylake tweaker, we have different rules for XTU (not that strict), we made stage rules here very precise because we and MSI agreed on price pool that big needs strict rules

Ask Pieter, 5003 is 5003, if he says 5006 is 5003, it is OK for me despite the logical fail. XTU cannot show 5003, so what should the 5003 refer to? The 5ghz determined by XTU mean 5,01 not allowed at XTU shown frequency

And we have the first XTU submissions, and I already see 5006 at core reading cpuz... seems time to rebench has come

You go to hwbot and go to submit result-> hwbotprime, then a windows appears which shows upload data file, and you use the file you saved and submit. Edit OK, seems this already worked

For extreme we need the screenshot - it is a bit misleading because ambient doesn´t need it, but we included it at stage rules to show the difference.

Tell this AMD, the pattern that 290/390 and now 49ß are flagships of their releases and 280/380 and 480 are second tier was not decided by hwbot. The fact that amds fastest vga is almost 50% slower than Nvidias was not decided by hwbot as well btw. Discussion closed

This is no bashing, the 480 is no bad card for the money, but it is a fact we cannot change that it is second highest model of RX4x0 series AMD releases and it is only as fast as third tier 1060 or older 970. I would prefer it to be different to avoid useless discussions, but cannot change it. Funny fact, every time we try to improve something after input from community (first round bc all divisions were dominated by 980ti, second round because we had other model that only allowed explicitly listed cards and was not flexible especially with older models we had complains and requests fr changes) it ends up with three times as much time to spend by me and other staff members than before and lots of complains.

I explain to you what you obviously do not want to understand - RX480 is second tier card by amd like 970 and 1070 at nv - we make no exception from rules because amd is slow - I hope now even you understand this - shouldn´t be that difficult P.S. Fyi, normally we should have ruled out 380 and 280 models as well, we made an exception like on AMD only stage to promote AMD at least a bit and support owners of these cards. It is sad to see that AMD fails at new gen again, but we can´t change the fact that their 14nm launch is not fast enough to compete with natural direct opponent 1070

The simple truth is that AMD has no card which can compete with 1070 at all - even their flagship cannot beat second tier nvidia card, like their fx cpus cannot even beat old gen Intel K cpus. On performance, the 480 is around same as 970. Don´t think we have to make up for AMDs constant failing and being 2 gens behind NV now

The Titanx Pascal was released after start of the competition round, so it is not allowed

We thought you need something to complain, so we ruled it this way In fact, the rx480 is second tier vga, only the upcoming 490 will be faster at new archtecture, so it fits the division two and not three. Ask AMD to make their cards faster, maybe they listen to you ^^

ja, aber wir haben aber erfahrung - ambient bleibt ambient und 20 grad load heißt subzero bei 1,5v. Bringt uns nicht in Gewissenskonflikte, MSI hat sich das Recht vorbehalten jedes Resultat zu streichen, ohne Angabe von Gründen^^

Honest question, was this ever tested, did someone ever had a card in his hands and checked this so it is sure this works or is this a wild guess? No need to argue here, but there is a difference in how things could probably work in theory and what can happen if you really do something.
