  2. Good result, Daniel, I hope this system is now your long overdue upgrade - keep on pushing
  3. You did an excellent job on that, this result rules
  4. Time you make a good price for your Flare, Pieter - PM me
  5. The several irregularities Sam mentions are true, I fully agree on that. The Crosshair 5 may be an excellent board, but it sometimes produces results that are too good to be true, and which are not reproducable. This result was widely discussed in germany as well, and efficiciency on 1M etc make it very likely this is bugged, which is disappointing, but these things happen in world of high oc
  6. I can´t predict if these run well on ivy, without test this is lottery with Intel. So it will be your decision if you take the risk or sell, sorry that I can´t help you on this
  7. these mems are ok- definitely in my opinion. That most Hypers have compability issues on SB is known, they don´t run at 1:8 divider stable. You can keep these and use them for 1:6 and 1:7, there at c7, and other system likes 775 or 1366/2011 where they will do excellent job, or you sell them- as SamOCX said, if hypers have this issue on a board, thweaking normally does not help you. They won´t run 1:8 with your current SB-system, at least not 32M. maybe 1M and 3Ds where they can do good job, these are as said technically ok I think, this is proven by your test. I am sure on 1156 or 1366 and even 2011 these will do specs and more
  8. First test you can make is 1:6 1600 6-6-6-18 60 1T if you have only sb atm, these should do this at below 1,6V-but to be sure the mems are technically OK testing on other platform would be best
  9. @Massman So for me everyday is sunday, as PSC on SB are simply slow compared to BBSE and some Hyper @Lancia Delta Try something like that, with a good cpu they work better,is also bclk limit, if yours don´t work, you might be victim of Intels lack to guarantee compabilty Hope it helps, membooster enabled, everything else auto
  10. Nothing different to the 3 cores you talk about, and this is not especially because of your submission or the global points but something in general- no one would have thought about making ranking for 6800LE for example with 9, 10 or 11 pipes unlocked to- this will bring only a flood of new results going on with number of cores in the future. With this we will see 7,9,11,13 core and so on in the future untile bot drowns in this - I would have limited boints to count of cores cpu was sold at - again, nothing against you personally
  11. there have been enough 960 which have been unlocked to 6 cores- it doesn´t count as result if you downgrade a gulftown to five cores, so why does this count?^^ - nice idea, but hwbot tricking and searching for weaknesses in rules and testing these wasn´t what was supposed as the bot was made. Just my 5 cents
  12. Hi, saw by chance I have 8 reported submissions, not according to rules of enthusiast league. With all 8 submissions picture is missing- which is no wonder, these submissions were made long before enthusiast league existed, and pictures were not obligatorious before that. I would prefer this to be fixed, and that this might be checked. Maybe I am not the only one who has this problem now, newest submission of this eight reported is nearly one year old
  13. Now there is only question when ranking and boints work - until now they both don´t
  14. Thanks - very fast work
  15. Hi, new Intel core i5 2550K is still missing as it seems- I doubt my scores being worth submitted, but at least I have some of my full retail officially bought non-sponsored not-cherry picked cpu http://ark.intel.com/products/65647/Intel-Core-i5-2550K-Processor-%286M-Cache-3_40-GHz%29
  16. I tried this several times before-fail. Remembering that I couldn´t install OS on the board with two USB devices I now tried PS2 keyboard and it worked- luckily had one left in the cellar - on GA and the 10000000 bugs the board has no comment anymore
  17. No problem with BBSE or PSC- I can run 5GHz+ at 1140 7-10-7 with PSC and BBSE 32M, then BCLKJ limit strikes - would be 7-9-7 if the board wouldn´t block- the Hyper issue is something that quite a few people talk about as "feature"- thinking about that there would be no reason to buy 300€ UD7 for example if hyper would run on UD4 as well because things like BCLK-limit and multi are the same I tend to agree- but who knows, I only seen that same ram that doen´t do 1001 C9 on my UD4 runs 1100 7-7-6 32M on UD7 - with less than 1,8V
  18. The Hyper issue is one of the things- I have 32GB hyper from diferent manufacturers and even more different SPD- worst stick runs 1070 C7-7-6 Memtest stable on the board at 1,7V and 1M, but none of the sticks even manages 1001 C9-9-9 32M - the fact TRCD 9 or less is blocked at 1120, no matter which other main and subtimings are used on my BBSE and PSC is just a non-important note, boot refuses to boot with Hyper, BBSE, PSC and so on. Intel says you get what you pay, so I think 160€ was not enough as other brands boards of this pricing have mostly same issue. What really makes me angry is always loading backup bios several times after resets, when board sets defaults there is always the problem some Voltages and adjustments aren´t resetted, profiles sometimes are loaded with different ram multiplikator and so on. This is what I mean when I talk about bugs in my opinion. But I think this should be enough, this is the bios and not the complaint thread
  19. I´m not someone always needing new Bioses- I had my GA-P45 UD3 for example almost two years with same F5 Bios because board worked perfectly, so I never even thought about upgrading Bios. The unresolved issues are the problem, if GA had just emitted one bios version working without bugs and without big ram problems which I won´t discuss here I would have been satisfied. Seems I´m not the only one with bug problems on the board, and you can believe me that I´m not someone making the decision to change brand light hearted
  20. For the user that´s no difference- and it will definitely not change my mind in changing manufacturer. That GA has stopped buying P67 chips from Intel and will relauch the whole portfolio at Z68 base doesn´t free them from their "tasks" for their customers imho. As I know there is not much, if not to say nothing more to come my next board will be from a manufacturer with better support. Sadly there are only a few manufacturers left, but luckily Gigabytte is at least atm not the only one. Funny thing is I was more or less the last GA-apologet at AF - the only one always talking for them, but we all make mistakes
  21. Wonderful to see how Gigabyte launches Z68 bioses and lets people who paid a lot of money die with their bugged and extremely locked(Ram) P67-Bioses- seems fresh money is worth more than satified customers. Having used GA all my OC-life long the UD4-B3 will most likely be my last GA- I will change
  22. Top-excellent combination - great result
  23. After testing 1000s of Celerons its finally done:D Gratz, Sam , amazing work as usual
