Apex X does not like A2 mems much which is standard RGB layout - for XMP you need BIOS 1704 or newer, for 4000c12 you might have a look at Maximus 11 thread (here 4 posts above or so^^) because you have to use a workaround to correct Asus´ fail on memory compability P.S. If you have latest BIOS already, I think you might have to wait for the dark then

Hi, welcome for my final memory sale this year. 1. 2x8GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-4133 C19-19-19-39 1,35v Manufacturing date November 2018, good condition with original box. The kit was tested to do DDR4-4260 12-12-12-28 1t 220 tight at 2.14v GB3 and XTU (12-11 doesn´t work) on my Apex X, which makes it a way above average bench-kit. They have follow up serialnumbers and were tested in kits of two going with these numbers, no single tests done. 1. 2x8GB G.Skill TridentZ SW DDR4-4200 C19-19-19-39 1,40v Fully working, Ics are Samsung B-die, from january 2018 (1804xxx37/38). Tested for 4500 c19-19-19 1,45v memtest and Spi 32m, for benching I could run 4100 12-11-11-28 tight gb3 and XTU 2,06v on apex X, 4133 only worked for cb15 and lighter benchmarks. Average B-die imho, perfect condition, a1 layout. 2. 2x8GB G.Skill TridentZ SW DDR4-4200 C19-19-19-39 1,40v Fully working, Ics are Samsung B-die, from january 2018 (1804xxx39/40). Tested for 4500 c19 also around 1,45v, for benching I could run 4200 12-11-11-28 tight XTU and GB3 at around 2,1v and maxed out at 4240 2,13v for both benchmarks.
