Hi, before you get in trouble I might give you information that 3:5 divider on p45 and x48 is bugged and in reality 2:3, means 3,33d is not real at frequency... 3:5 divider on X38/P35/X48/P45 is broken, is 2:3 in reality on 400 strap Might be needed to test again, this is knowledge that got lost over time it seems

It seems to be either a conflict with some software or driver or maybe some module missing. Try to uninstall vga driver first, clean os with driver cleaner or some similar program and re install new driver, maybe it helps. And please check if you have visual cc restributable installed and data execution prevention disabled, this can obviously also cause problems

It is not the prize itself, but I guess it might be better to give it away at lucky draw or a single best result, makes it easier to handle and easier against manipulation

I wonder why there is an mvp individual price at a team competition anyway, it looks as if hunting for this becomes more important than boosting the team^^

Manual check of all results

Check if you have an option to remove the score from the competition at hwbot. If you cannot remove it you will have to check if your ddr3 score is better or worse than what team mates can offer. If it is better you need to delete it because engine goes with best result of the team but only takes into ranking 1x result per user

This happens when you play around without sense- speedy uploaded score and added it at 29.07. then he deleted it, then he reloaded and added same score again on 15.08. I will see if this can be fixed, I tried but did not work. On the teams, will get this checked as well. P.S. I fixed the ddr issue, andorria had a better esult linked to the competition, always remove stuff like this when you change planning

Unreleased or non available hardware is not allowed for competitions as well, and on 99% ES are not allowed as well. So what´s your problem, do you work in the industry at a data center and are unhappy you cannot profitate by this advantage?

Soon it will be time for old school is best school season 4. The competition series had good feedback over last years, so of course we decided to keep it alive and go for another season. This thread is meant organize the five (5) rounds of season 4, our plan is to give the participants the chance to create their own rounds and thereby take in experiences of last years plus the knowledge on old hardware accumulated in community. It might take some work and discussion, but we want each round designed by another bencher, so we start early to have some time to get this done. What do we need and want: 1. 5 rounds of 3 or 4 stages focused on same hardware (socket/cpus/vgas). Mixed rounds only raise cost and make things more difficult. 2. One or maximum of two rounds might include or focus on old server cpus which can be bought cheap. No professional cards after last years experience and please make sure to define hardware requirements precisely (socket, cpu, adapters allowed or not, and so on) 3. Please take in the possible cost of the round and hardware. I am not happy and others aren´t as well when you need to spend hundreds of euros to get rare unicorn hardware. 4. Please understand that we prefer 5 different members designing one round each this time, this doesn´t mean you cannot propose 2 or 3 different round concepts, some proposals might use similar hardware so we can merge for example. I would also preer different teams involved. I will tag some guys here, this doesn´t mean they are the only ones allowed or preferred, but I want them to spread the news as well^^ @GRIFF @zafiropo @lanbonden @Mr\.Scott So let´s start, feel free to post your proposals in this thread

I don´t see servers at a community competition like country cup because of the industry advantage and it makes not much sense to allow them by age, we had enough trouble now with people seeing guideline exemption made and then going server for next comp despite not being allowed. Maybe Pieter can think about a server hardware competition as standalone, and we have a lot of results at database so these dont seem to catch dust all the time. On the Titans, maybe we can allow some of the older models now for some competitions. The fact remains that these are expensive and some of these you have to destroy to mod them, which is worst part

No FB mems, and on the mvp, this is Pieter´s domain, I think it is personal ranking at stages divided through total number of stages, but not sure. I wonder why this was made for team cup anyway^^

Might be needed to ugrade the bIOS, first BIOS editions at Ryzen also had memory problems. The point is that especially new amd systems have bigger problems to oc dual sided memory sticks as far as I know

No idea about prices, but for estimations it is better to post at wanted section of marketplace with tag like "price rating"

ICC max is the power limit iirc, this is raised to prevent that the cpu throttles because of maximum amp setting being hit.

The rules are quite clear on this VGA may not be shared for VGA benchmarks. CPU may not be shared for CPU benchmarks. 3.2E of general rules, you can not use same cpu to submit same benchmark for two different users (spi 32m for example) but if the cpu is used to bench 3d benchmarks like fire strike and each member uses his own videocard, this is OK. As said above, it is the category and benchmark you submit to that defines this, same cpu for same 2d benchmark disallowed, same cpu as base of 3d benchmark with different videocards is allowed HWBOT General Rules and Guidelines

The ranking is final now, the old system of points is simply the best for online competitions - enjoy the prices and the points

Which hardware? I t can be file too big, it can be old hardware that is currently not supported by 2,00 and so on
