i don't know how legal it is, they are selling you stuff as brand new but instead they are building your PC (sold as bran new) with used and pretested parts. i still won't buy anything from a shop that does this kind of things.

would be interesting to know how these shops get rid of these pretested and than discarded CPUs... i never saw a shop stating (except maybe pctweaker.de in the bloomfield days) "we are selling pretested CPU" so i assume they are selling them as brand new. to be 100% safe i don't buy anything from shops i know are "close" to overclockers.

thanks, there is something wrong with that board, it have some serious performance issue... plus the crappy IMCH didn't helped...CAS 6 is a no go over 1600 MHz and CAS7 is ok just up to 1800. p.s. saw your 955 over XS, it looks like better than mine. you should freeze it.

it's kinda difficult to get more NB frequency out of this CPU, maybe 3000/3100 is possibile with some serious voltage (read more than 1.65/1.7 volt).
