Posted June 6, 201114 yr Hi! I dont have much to say about this card yet, so here are the pictures of it first. I have been testing the card on aircooling and it is very silent in normal operation. It is the most extreme VGA from asus, so it is not ment to be used with aircooling anyway. Ln2 test are coming in some point, if I have time.
June 6, 201114 yr Holy crap. That's a seriously power section! I bet TiN's looking for one to zombie as we speak
June 6, 201114 yr Author very nice.! What do the other buttons do.? No need for fan button. Check this short part of video. It is in Finnish, but you will get the idea for sure
June 7, 201114 yr Ah very nice Is there a switch on the back to unlock the volts so they go higher for ln2.?
June 15, 201113 yr Author Vmods for this card. You can still add more VGPU with + and - buttons if you use this. Flash Matrix cold slow bios or DCII cold slow bios. (DCII bios + smartdoctor works well)
June 15, 201113 yr Holy crap. That's a seriously power section! I bet TiN's looking for one to zombie as we speak Not really much to zombie with this kind of power supply on the card.
June 16, 201113 yr Crew i think you dont need hard mods on this card though, bios flash can increase the volts as needed
June 20, 201113 yr Any news about OCP mod (if is needed) and PLL mod? CBB mod and another great stuff for extreme overclocking
June 20, 201113 yr Author Any news about OCP mod (if is needed) and PLL mod?CBB mod and another great stuff for extreme overclocking OCP mod is very easy. Just connect the OCP pads from the other side of the card and you are done. Vpll, VGPU, Vmem are all adjustable with GPUTweak program. You don't need to do any of these mods, if you don't want to. I usually do mods, cause it is actually easier to bench that way and there is no drop in voltage after crash etc. I can check the mods, if someone really needs them.
July 21, 201113 yr Author Retail Matrix seems to work like they should. There was no issues with anything. Memory on this sample was not that good, but core was "ok". This was just pretesting session for Assembly Summer 2011.
