Hello OC! I have the same mboard but i have problems to oc my 2600K. The mboard has difficult with higher multi and problems of stability with ddr divisor. I can do 57x multi with max 980MHZ. With ASROCK Z68 PRO3 GEN 3 I have done 57x multi and 1066MHZ on DDR.

What are your settings?

I'm with PHASE CHANGE.

Yes, with G skill @ 2133MHZ i get "55" post code. What does it mean ?

I can get 2133MHZ with CRUCIAL TACTICAL @ CAS 8-9-8-39 1T

Ram can't do tight subtimings.. Its MSI bios that hinders old rams to be used with z77. I think they already know the issue.

I had "55" with an older set of GTX2's, swapped to my newer set of GTX2's and it booted right up, so it might not just be a timing problem.

New Bios Test & LN2 some update

1.5B3 Bios very good~

 

Key updates:

01. Fix some memory may hang 0x55 when XMP enabled and set DRAM freq to a lower Freq than XMP freq.

02. Add the adjust volt Keyin Function.

03. Add DRAM Advanced Timing item option range.

04. Add DRAM frequency option 2933 and XMP info in My OC Genie Option group.

05. Modify the PCIE GEN3 item option value string.

06. Fix OC fail retry function does not work then hang on 0xA2 issue when use external VGA card and overclocking CPU ratio too high.
