Rasparthe Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 (edited) Unable to submit a score using X2 4600 windsor, says the chip isn't allowed even though its on the list of chips that can be used. http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/9757/wtfex.jpg Edited February 2, 2013 by Rasparthe Quote
Massman Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Hm, weird. Adding it to the buglist with high priority - thanks for reporting! Quote
Massman Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 I mean: found the problem and fixed it. Should work now Quote
Saito Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 GTX 5 series vs amd HD5 series isn't fair there is a year difference Quote
xsuperbgx Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 6970 and 6950 were released at the end of 2010, but they still won't beat a Gtx580. Quote
xsuperbgx Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 In SC1 and SC3 the core2 stage shows kentsfield/qx6700 as acceptable. Is it ok for sc2 also? or was it omitted on purpose? Quote
Bones Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Noted that the ATI X800 GTO AGP slot card wasn't included within the Prescott vs. Clawhammer portion of the comp but virtually all other X800 series cards were. Do these fall out of qualifying due to their date of manufacture or something? It does say all X800 cards are valid but didn't see this one listed amongst those listed. Quote
Massman Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 The X800 GTO AGP was manufacturer in 2005, if I'm not mistaken. So, it falls outside the 2004 category. Quote

Omitted on purpose - X6800 should be beating that. I guess it could be added if you think QX6700 will be beating X6800? Quote
OLDcomer Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 What about RADEON 8500LE/9100/9000/9000 PRO? They were released in 2002. Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) Another question for #3: 2004 . Why X850 XT is allowed, but X850 Pro and XT850 XT PE - not? They all are 2005, if I'm not wrong. Edited February 4, 2013 by I.nfraR.ed Quote
xsuperbgx Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I only ask because x6800 is hard to find, but I have qx6700. I also wonder about x850xtpe. Thanks. Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 QX6700 is top end too... should be allowed. Also, there are tons of X6800's on ebay but they're pretty expensive. Quote

According to this site http://www.xgcdb.com/ you are correct and it was a Q3 2005 release. Had to ask since many of those models were contemporaries of it but if it's not a 2004 made card, it's out = Fair enough. Quote

GENiEBEN Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 "Must use competition background: link" isn't a link... where do I find the backround? Just enter on any Stage Page and it's in its rules. http://i.imgur.com/XPidgxL.jpg Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 What he's saying is that in the rules where you're supposed to click to see the background actually doesn't link to anything. Quote
funsoul Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Can a x850 xt pe (PCI-e) be used for this stage or just a regular x850 xt (non-pe)? Tia! Quote
MrBreeze Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 X850 XT AGP allowed? Not specifically mentioned, so figured I should check since other X800 AGP cards are specifically mentioned. Quote
