January 30, 201411 yr Hi to all! I just bought a 4770k cpu and the batch number seems to be very new so i can't find any info for that... the batch number is L336C743 MALAY... is there any info if this will be a good chip? Unfortunately i don't have the MB yet so i can't post any default metrics...
January 30, 201411 yr SuperV - No chip from any batch is guaranteed to be good, especially good enough to run 5Ghz stable for gaming. thanostc - Same. Not all chips from the same batch will be good. Some will be absolute dogs, some maybe will be good, most will be average! The only way to find out how your chip does is to run it and find out! Best of luck and hope you have a good one!
