    Officially I surrender. My good looking Haswell died during testing CB on low volts (1.5v), going from -80*C to -105*C. I got BSOD and that's all.   It was QEH6 ES reviewer sample. 1.275v 4/8 @ 5 G

hi all i'm new .i'm looking for 4770k stable at 5ghz.if somebody have one pm me or tell me where to get a good batch.i was thinkin of amazon but who knows...i need to play battlefield 4 online.thanks

Hi to all! I just bought a 4770k cpu and the batch number seems to be very new so i can't find any info for that... the batch number is L336C743 MALAY... is there any info if this will be a good chip? Unfortunately i don't have the MB yet so i can't post any default metrics...

SuperV - No chip from any batch is guaranteed to be good, especially good enough to run 5Ghz stable for gaming.

thanostc - Same. Not all chips from the same batch will be good. Some will be absolute dogs, some maybe will be good, most will be average! The only way to find out how your chip does is to run it and find out! Best of luck and hope you have a good one!

Thank you very much for your absolutely quick response!

i asked one seller and he will provide me next week all his batch codes.now you say that batch doesnt matter cuz you can get same batch 1 do 5 ghz and 2nd 4.5 only.

Pre-bin 12 chip yesterday, on hot air : M6 Impact, bios full auto except Vcore and coef.

I took note, so I can tell you more detail later. this is what I remember...

Test 1 : vid

Test 2 : vcore min @4.5Ghz wprime32M

Test 3 : 1.3v, freq max wprime 32M

Test 4 : T° @1.3v 4.5Ghz

L310... 1.02v // 1.2v // 4.7 // 86°C

L315... 0.9xx // 1.12 // 4.8 // 88°

L317... 1.04v // 1.17 // 4.8 // 81°C

L333B : 2 chip can 4.5Ghz (Wprime) with 1.2v or less

L333B : 1 chip can 4.5Ghz (Wprime)with 1.25v

L333B : 6 chip can 4.5G (Wprime) with 1.3v

-----------

L333B : better VID 1.008v -> 1.3V for 4.5Ghz

L333B : low vo (less than 1.2v for 4.5Ghz) -> 1.04/1.05 VID

L333B : best chip (1.15v for 4.5G) heat more ( 81°C for 4.5G @1.3v)

L333B ; worst chip (1.3v for 4.5G) heat less (74°C for 4.5G @1.3v)
