Doesn't matter if they're spread across multiple controllers or only SATA 1.5Gb/S, being able to hook up a load of drives is the most important thing Thanks! Sata ports and price is the most important thing Thanks! I have my old DFI SLI-DR here, that has 8 and it's a good starting point. Hoping to find a couple of boards with a more consistent low price At the mo, i'm even vaguely looking at SAS cards and 1-to-4-way cables.
