General overclocking

Hi all I have a question. Why the scores in benchmark charts and when i browse specifications are different. for example when I check average score in 3dmark vantage for HD4870x2 in specification It's quite different from what I see on the 3D mark Vantage chart. just wonder... and why score for 3x 9800GTX on vantage chart is higher than the record in this benchmark for this setup.

can we use any os to run benchmarks or are some not aloud thanks baz

Hi guys, sorry if this not the right forum area. I submitted some scores on saturday/sunday, and I received hwboints on hardware master league; I also received my cups and medal as always, but i didn't get any hwboints in the overclockers league. Is this a known issue? Thank you for your answer.

Are these updating ok? They look a bit out of date. Also- how long does it take for updates for these titles to come across to a members page? (the medal and info at the top of every benchers page) Cheers! K

I've seen a few times that wPrime results with a checksum have gone into the wrong category. Like AMD Athlon X2 4800+ Toledo, alot of these scores should be in the 4800+ Brisbane category. PS: what can we do to view memory timings etc for these online submissions? It's nice for other benchers to look at those numbers sometimes, but they never show up... Perhaps it's an idea to ask for screenshots? That would make it easier for everyone:) It's not THAT much trouble to open 2 CPUZ tabs and paint;)

You have stats for GPU`s and CPU`s, I think lot of members would like to watch motherboard stats, especially max. FSB frequincies. Also you coald add stats of popularity of MB, GPU`s and CPU`s.

Just wondering what's the difference between low, medium and high priority requests. How do I, as a user, decide what requests belong in which categories?

But if i got the text, i can't click on "search" to add a picture in my PC mark Vantage so i can't upload a score because of looking forward to have this bug fixed.

Hi guys i have tested 3870 ddr4 +3870x2 and it was 3 GPU together i have entered this result as 3x3870 and it was banned from moderators what should i do? i cant understand 3870 core ist the same in both of the VGA cards it is really 3 pieces of RV670 maybe could hwbot update the list and allow me to enter 3870+3870X2 mod or something like that sorry for my english

Hi,is it possible for team moderators to be able to delete/remove non participating/inactive team members please ? We have dozens of members with no input whatsoever for some time,destroying our points per member average.We also have a couple of members with multiple accounts,probably set up in error,which needs correcting.Lastly,is it in any way possible to find out who the 60 odd unregistered members are on our team ? Your CPUZ Version is outdated. Please upgrade to CPU-Z 1.47+ (now available on http://www.cpuid.com) when i saw this i updated to version 1.47 and i made the validation file with it but the same thing happens, help please... thanks

Would it be possible (or even a good idea!) to have our hardware and global points listed separately at the top of our profiles so we can see how we're doing? K

Please can we have the options back to modify our submissions? It would be useful for when we have to move FM verification URLs between FM accounts if nothing else. Also- please can we have the option of deleting old results- even if it just means hiding them from our view? I dont want to see my old scores that iv beaten.....

I like this feature quite a bit actually, I think that it needs to be updated mainly for motherboard models and the P45 chipset but congrats to whomever thought of this.

Total n00b question but I figured I ask the Pr0s, I have an Aquagate that I'm using to cool my CPU, E7200 OC'd to 3.7 ghz the pump has started to make a cavitation noise that I'm accounting for because of fluid loss from evaporation. Can I replace the fluid with regular automotive antifreeze? I do not want to pay a premium for a replacement if is is just colored deionized water or repackaged antifreeze. Thanks for any help!! !

I'm getting a socket 940 board soon. The board has 2 sockets, but I think it works with just one CPU plugged into the board. My question if there are separate rankings for 2 CPUs and 1 of the same kind (like 2x Opty 856 won't be compared to 1x Opty 856), so I can score twice as many cups by removing one chip and re-bench everything?

Hi all, I just wanted to know why the HelpCenter is so permanently full of requests. Does it work fine or does it cost a lot of time for the crew to make new categories? I'm not telling that the crew is not doing its job and I can imagine how hard it is to maintain updated such a big database, but I was just wondering...

Hi just a question about results using older wares 1. Pentium 520 Wprime 32 m score is using v1.41a. Would I be able to use 1.41a to compete with that score?
