  1. Lower temps mean higher clocks and allow even higher vcore. Your chip probably just isn't very good or your cooling is inadequate if you're hitting a wall. Anything over 70c ryzen has issues with stability, and the higher the voltage the lower temps need to be.
  2. You have to set single buffering in the bench settings or else it will vsync. You can force triple buffering through dxd overrider if you feel you still need it.
  3. Nice chip! Outclocks both of mine! Was hoping that we'd see who will pull ahead on ln2, thuban or yorkfield but it seems that is still up in the air.
  4. 15? that's PCH code iirc. Did you insulate the board like in the m8i subzero guide? I think that the pch and vrm don't like to be too cold and the board is so cramped it can be an issue.
  5. Wow! Don't think anyone is gonna be able to catch us before the end of the comp for this stage now that we have the fastest Vega M GL score
  6. I'm sure this is already known, but on the m7i if you select additional training and always retrain then the reset button works the same as "retry" on newer boards. I found that the one time I pushed PSC that this made a huge difference as sometimes you have to retrain several times to get it post when you're on the edge of stability. Although I'm not sure how much of that is related to my mem as it wasn't binned and definitely aren't my best sticks based on later binning. http://hwbot.org/submission/3805983_yosarianilives_3dmark03_hd_graphics_(haswell)_26018_marks
  7. For 3dm03 you have to watch the entire way through. Basically if it's unstable and the driver crashes then it will render a blackscreen for the rest of the test causing a crazy high score.
  8. bump
  9. Should be able to lock vttddr to 1.1 in the tweakers paradise section anyways?
  10. Not sure what's so hidden? Literally if you go to the rankings for the bench there are rules linked right at top of the page. But in case you somehow were incapable of finding it on your own link for wprime rules here also a pictoral guide attached for finding rules
  11. I am fine either way but I voted no. Last year with HD 8000 has taught me that it's hard enough to get people to buy a $150 gpu that's worth no pts and isn't relevant for anything aside from one stage of a comp so it would end up me buying it. Got to save my own wallet
  12. Push to sell the last few 6 cores, price dropped to $20 each shipped cont US, with 50% off international shipping on order of 2 or more cpus. Price cannot go any lower before I take a total loss. Already selling below cost. Want these gone
  13. Yeah I wouldn't expect too far above 2100 on thuban IMC
  14. Is Vega FE allowed for the GPUPI 32b stage?
  15. Are we gonna have a three way standoff between team USA, UK, and AU this year for some of the stages? I sure hope so, that would make CC so interesting and entertaining. I know there was plenty of friendly shit talking in the r/oc discord last year between USA, AU, UK, and DE, so I'm sure this year will be equally entertaining.
  16. bump, not too much time left before the end of the comp to make sure you have the right cpus to win
  17. This seems to still be broken ATM. I subbed a 7350k score at 6.36 ghz on Saturday but it still hasn't shown up in our rankings even though we have a 6700k and 7740x at ~5 ghz that definitely don't have more score/core.
  18. Tons of cpus, P4, G470, a few core based mobile celerons, even semprons. Just look at the global ranking and see what occupies everything below top 10. Now that l3014 is allowed I will have to decide if I try my l3014 for globals or if I run my G470 that is likely the best in the US (I'm at the point of binning boards not cpus )
  19. I would hope that we allow xeons at least for the single core stage so people will at least have a chance at globals when they bench it.
  20. Not that the spreadsheet would do much good, there's so many open ended stages rn. Like obviously there are certain igp that you need for icestorm extreme but there's so many gpus that could work for the other scores for that stage. And amd 32m is another one where you have to consider several factors when picking chips. R15/core is always a matter of hard to tell what all the best chips are, etc
  21. There's a team USA spreadsheet already but it's "classified" ?
  22. Also does anyone know if we plan on doing a bench meet this year?
  23. Also did not see if RTX will be allowed for relevant stages or not
