  1. Looks like it's the week for unexpectedly good mem ICs, definitely one to keep a watch on.
  2. Crazy to think that there may be really good ICs out there that nobody has tested because they were too busy binning d-die, psc, bbse, etc. Well done on testing, and will be interesting to see what comes of this IC once you and other have more time to test!
  3. Not even on core i does avx matter? only the avx2 on haswell+ is where that instruction matters? Or do you just mean that Celerons don't have AVX?
  4. Well a bunch of global records got set so I bet you lost global pts
  5. For sale today I have a few AM3 cpus and a 2x8 GB kit of Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4. Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x8 GB DDR4 2666 (comes unsealed in box) $120 shipped (cont US) Sempron 140 $5+ship or $10 shipped (Cont US) 3x Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition $7 + Ship or $10 shipped (Cont US) Phenom II X4 840(Deneb) $10 shipped (Cont US) sold on hws 3x Phenom II X3 720 $7+ship or $10 shipped (Cont US) Phenom II x4 840t and Athlon II 640 #25, 26, 28 (unlock to 6 core cpu) $20 shipped (cont US) each Phenom II x4 840t and Athlon II 640 #19, 27, 29 $10 shipped (cont US) each, Binning numbers for Zosma chips here, all binning done at 1.65v core on single stage phase change. OCZ ddr3 $5+ship per stick Sold on hws Any questions comment or PM below
  6. Thread can be closed, creating a new thread for new items.
  7. Read the rules of the benchmark. It is explicitly allowed for all 3dmarks except timespy and timespy extreme.
  8. Cpu will not be an issue, board reference frequency by socket is mobo socket. So if you set reference frequency on crosshair v it is am3+ whether there is am3 cpu or am3+ cpu inside. If you set ref clock on crosshair iv it is am3 even if you use am3+ cpu on it. That said I like the idea that was mentioned earlier to consider am2/+, am3/+, and all lga 1151 as single sockets as it would be silly to have the lineup be something like Maximus x AND maximus ix, or crosshair iv AND v, etc.
  9. Oof, only has mainboard tab, no mem tab. Guess it's just more incentive to rebench for gold
  10. So then I assume that am2/+ is also considered a single socket? And server socket is allowed?
  11. Bump, have only 1x 840t 6 core left and 2x 640t 6 core left for $20 each shipped (cont US). I also have a 640t that won't unlock 6 cores but has a really strong 5 cores, did 4.8 on ss at 1.65v for $10 shipped (Cont US) and will split shipping for international orders of multiple cpus. Want to see these gone
  12. Push, I want these gone #21 and #31 sold to Tasos
  13. Pretty sure it was 109.9. I hadn't figured out some tweaks to break 110 yet when I did that.
  14. Can we get this mobo fixed? It's listed as LGA 771, but it's definitely LGA 775 https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5KPLVM/ Want to make sure this gets sorted before the max FSB stage for Country cup starts as I know on mine I did 520 fsb with almost no voltage control and can do way more with mods. So would be a shame to have the LGA 771 FSB record set on a 775 board
  15. Lower temps mean higher clocks and allow even higher vcore. Your chip probably just isn't very good or your cooling is inadequate if you're hitting a wall. Anything over 70c ryzen has issues with stability, and the higher the voltage the lower temps need to be.
  16. You have to set single buffering in the bench settings or else it will vsync. You can force triple buffering through dxd overrider if you feel you still need it.
  17. Nice chip! Outclocks both of mine! Was hoping that we'd see who will pull ahead on ln2, thuban or yorkfield but it seems that is still up in the air.
  18. 15? that's PCH code iirc. Did you insulate the board like in the m8i subzero guide? I think that the pch and vrm don't like to be too cold and the board is so cramped it can be an issue.
