Prepping for rtx 2000 series

AFAIK the limit on deneb based chips is around 1866ish and the limit on thuban based chips is 2133ish. To help your mem you obviously need to adjust cpunb voltage as this is also for the chipset, although you also don't want to punch it as it can have negative scaling. The range is 1.3-1.55v. On ambient probably best to be sub 1.5v or even 1.45v. Also I've found that a voltage named vddr (not familiar with civf bios but this is present in cvf bios) can help at times. Not sure how it can be set safely on ambient but on ss it helped to max it (around 1.8ish). Also I'm sure that you're already running your hypers at 2v but always a good thing to remember, am3 "Ddr3" controller may as well be ddr2 controller as far as voltage tolerances so you can shove as much volts as the mem continues to scale to. (usually 2v for hypers on ambient) Not sure if this helps but I hope its useful.

Wouldn't trade this chip, lol. Didn't even have to bin for it. Bought it for $100 pre ryzen launch because of bent pins and just remembered that it did 4.9 on 1.37v on aio when looking at what hw I had for the all amd Ddr3 stage of tc. (hit temp limits because leaky, my 8320 ran same temps at 1.45v on same cooler)

Edit: apparently that tweak wasn't public, so at request of originator of this sooper sekrits tweakz removing. I personally think that not sharing tweakz hurts the community and is partially responsible for lack of growth here but it also apparently wasn't my tweak to share. Sorry ya'll I thought it was well known ?♀️ -

That said I wouldn't mind another 5 or even 6 sub gcn1 stage this year for CC. This time I will have HD 8970 ready ? -

But fm1 is one of the cheapest platforms in the comp? People have zero issue pulling out the soldering iron on $600+ cards for 3d stages yet it's too much of a monetary risk to potentially brick the bios on a $50 board? There is no logic in your argument. Just admit that you were wrong previously and move on. If you want to complain about "risky" "expensive" stages then perhaps complain about the dual gpu stage that allows titan's and will likely need mods on all 6 cards to be truly competiive or the IGP stage that require 2 scores from $800+ intel NUC's if you want to be competive. -
Frequency detection bug with old Socket 5 CPUs

That may be too often. Sometimes I sub every weekend for several months, but sometimes I also go several months without subbing because I'm binning or I just test many things and nothing really works out correctly. You'd need a combination of forum and submissions if you wanted to see who was truly active empirically. -
Allow old AGESA for GPUPI subs in TC2018
yosarianilives replied to Leeghoofd's topic in HWBOT Competitions
I think that it should be allowed so that people don't have to worry about making ln2 subs for the comp that'll be beaten on air after comp closes. -

So then for example this score should be pulled from the comp? (not trying to call you out mac, I think it should be legal and would love to sub on 300 series) -

I second this, vas is disgusting and can do bad things if it works it's way into sockets. -

In the database they are listed as Grenada even though they're Hawaii. As there would need to be hw purchased I'd like to verify before hand. -

For stage 7 does R9 390/x count as Hawaii?
