  1. This ^ Tbh I'd avoid subbing anything at all, unless it's for a comp that's about to end as every time you sub a score it recalculates. At least until the db sorts itself out.
  2. Points are still broken as far as I can tell. Still seeing a bunch of 64.8 pt x265 4k globals for example, and my 1c 4k gold doesn't count towards my score even though if you click on the sub it shows pts, although about half as much as before. So I think I'd wait a bit longer. Hopefully @richba5tard has some more input.
  3. I probably should, but I've kinda decided that until my world ranking is such that I care about it I'm gonna focus on hwpts and globals and only do team comps as those are the only ones that I really enjoy. Plus no way would my 32m score be competitive, I only have 1 bench ssd rn and I want to see how many scores this 7 install will last for
  4. Basically there was a change that was pushed to production to help with certain subs not getting ranked/pts and I guess it required a recalc of a bunch of rankings. So when you get such a massive recalc and people keep hitting recalc on top of it then the server has a hard time with all the requests.
  5. Ideally they'd be able to temporily disable that feature/disable new subs. At the very least it may be a good idea to just take the site down for a day or so to let the server catch up. Hopefully once we get all the major kinks worked out of rev 7 we don't see as much situations like this.
  6. In hindsight my 2600k subs I had last night while binning (I have a second 5.6 chip now, gonna have to pick one to sell ) probably should've waited.
  7. I think rich has said that the current cause is too many people are hitting recalc at the same time as a change was pushed. So if people will be patient and not hit recalc, or possibly even sub, then it should sort itself out in time. Similar to the initial roll out of rev 7.
  8. I think he's just salty that yet another person is calling him out on invalid subs. He's already been told by mods to read the rules and yet he still asks why his subs get no points.
  9. So you're saying if we all go and hit recalc on our profile that'll fix it right?
  10. Give it a few months for the ln2, got to get 1st in apprentice before that But I really have had just awful experience with the two modern giga boards I've used. I wonder what happened to the giga of yore...
  11. Thanks for the kind words. But I think that at this point I should know better than to trust a giga board to do what it's told. Hopefully when I start doing legacy intel igp and have to switch from rog to giga for many chipsets, I don't find similar issues. At least the lower multiplier explains the "lack" of scaling from igp core I was seeing, as I wasn't increasing igp clocks nearly as fast as I thought.
  12. This would lead me to believe that there is no xp support at all on any z370 board currently https://hwbot.org/submission/3746724_shar00750_superpi___32m_core_i7_8700k_4min_49sec_833ms I believe it's an issue of drivers. If anyone can find a way to get xp to work on z370 they'll have a huge advantage, and hopefully will document and share their method at some point.
  13. Those subs have pts now, so it seems that the new change that was pushed ought to be working now
  14. You're absolutely right about igp core, I did actually start to do the scaling testing last night on the apex before I found out what was going on and I more or less found that. You can see where I got frustrated and stopped when the igp didn't OC as well as I thought... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_Vil7cXqPkJ0uqjzhSZ1GMnV-A773P_mieUyEQhsDgQ/edit?usp=sharing
  15. Well it looks like I owe you all an apology for being an idiot. I was doing some testing on my 7700k for hd graphics 630 to try to get some vindication and was getting really confused why my apex could only do about 1450 mhz on the igpu core when my soc was running "1926" mhz just fine. So I swapped back to the POS z270 soc. Boot at 1500 mhz multiplier just fine and I decide to double check clocks with gpu-z. To my surprise it read 1150! So as it turns out igpu multiplier is completely broken on the z270 soc, add that to the list of things that don't work right next to 1t cr. So I did the math for the bclk I was running with the multiplier I was actually running and it comes out to just about the same mem mhz that I was running on the apex. So it seems that on ss 1500 mhz really is the igpu core limit more or less. So I'd like to apologize for suggesting that you guys might've been doing something wrong, when it was really that I was an idiot the whole time. (as I suspect many of you already knew) Also after my testing yesterday I can say that it seems that the subtimings priorities are not necessarily exactly the same as on ddr3 platforms as I didn't see the same kind of scaling I'd expect. So while mem is definitely important I can't say I have a clue what you need to do other than have fast/low latency ram. Now if this was ddr3 based intel graphics I could give a fair few more pointers Hopefully I can learn a bit more about this part of my niche as I work towards becoming the intel igpu king (intel gma will also be interesting, I have about 15 boards and plans for dice lined up)
  16. I have 2 more subs, both superpi, that are not getting ranked or pts. http://hwbot.org/submission/3805794_yosarianilives_superpi___1m_core_i5_3470_8sec_330ms and http://hwbot.org/submission/3805800_yosarianilives_superpi___32m_core_i5_3470_7min_24sec_819ms I tried to pull them up in UAT but it seems they're not they're yet.
  17. Sold, please close the thread.
  18. I'll check when I get home tonight.
  19. Yeah definitely way different from fx. Although if 2700x is anything like 1800x then we may see at most 100-200 mhz over stock boost on ambient. I think that 4.4 is probably a safe bet for max on aio.
