  1. Eyyyy, you want a war? ^^
  2. There was a bug once (when I changed to Team PURE a lot of scores disappeared from my list, for no reason at all...), and the gold cup list was a temporary fix. The correct image should be the one in the verification URL I believe. If you find more, just post them here. I really don't feel like going through all my submissions to search for these:D
  3. We don't really know if there are any changes to the rest of the benchmark, the safest is to only allow the "real" one. PS: you can always set priority through a batch file. No taskmgr needed.
  4. I 've seen a few of these on ebay, but I haven't bought one yet I also spotted that you beat me in one of the 754 ranks, knocked me down from 2nd to 3rd in a few benchmarks. PS: you can easily add this type of requests in the helpcenter section.
  5. Yeah, keep it close - there is no instability until it shuts down. This core is really a PITA to OC properly... in a couple of weeks I'll have another go at wprime with my chips:D
  6. It's probably because I changed the number of sockets, there were some socket 940 wprime results which were clearly multi-socket configurations, but listed as single socket. After the change, they were victims of the recalculation bug, unfortunately...
  7. Nothing helps here I don't think this CBB is a CBB, actually - it's just that when you use high vcore the temps get higher under the IHS as well, so CPU temp is alot higher than pot temp. When these Brisbanes coldbug, they shut down completely, and then you have no chance to make them power on until the CPU temp is above the temp limit. -14c is pretty normal for these chips.
  8. Perhaps it's a good idea to have a sort function, so that by clicking on the HW-boint-headline, you'll get the rank for the HW-boints, and same for total and globals. However, total should still be default - that's what shows who is the best "team bencher".
  9. I have a hard time keeping up with you crazy guys:p When I post 100 boints, you always get 200. Great work!
  10. Ticket ID: 870 Priority: Low http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1146852
  11. Ticket ID: 869 Priority: Low http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1146406
  12. THere s a known problem with CPUZ and Phenoms, possibly because of the fact that you often OC only one core, and not the others. This makes the result uploadable, but it will show as rejected. As long as that problem isn't solved, there's no reason not to allow this type of score. Plus, this particular one has other benchmark runs at a frequency that makes this validation possible (4.8ghz+ superpi 1m for example).
  13. Ticket ID: 865 Priority: Low http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1142313\r\n\r\nYou can guess the stock specs
  14. This is really cool shit! Thanks for posting!
  15. This seems default settings to me, if you run it from the batch, start it up and type the parameteres manually or change the name of the batch file doesn't really matter, as long as it does the correct calculation.
  16. Ticket ID: 862 Priority: Low http://hwbot.org/community/submission/964839_raytherat_wprime_32m_2x_opteron_838_mp_130nm_11sec_70ms?tab=more\r\n\r\nThis is an Opteron 2378. Specs here: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AMD-Third%20Generation%20Opteron%202378%20-%20OS2378WAL4DGI%20%28OS2378WAL4DGIWOF%29.html
  17. Not that I deny that there is a difference, but some of these numbers aren't 100% correct, as it's pretty obvious that for instance the 6090MHz 06 capable retail can do alot more in at least 1m and 32m than 6150Mhz. The gap is in general 300MHz, I think - based on the numbers above.
  18. Still, the legal issues are not a problem, if Intel starts to make lawsuits to those who buy the stuff on ebay, then we can discuss. But as long as it's practically legal to do this there's no reason to block these chips. My point was that you do illegal stuff if there's a minimal risk of being caught. As long as Intel and AMD do nothing about ES chips in circulation, the risk is even smaller than if you download an mp3 file. My comments are also based on the fact that this is actually illegal, which I'm not convinced is right.
  19. I haven't heard of ANYONE that's gone to prison because of buying a CPU on ebay. As long as Intel doesn't do much about these chips (they could buy them themselves, for instance...), there's not much of a problem. I bet everyone in here have either used some sort of illegal cracks and downloaded copyrighted material from the net. That's not any better than buying stuff on ebay.
  20. My PC3200 BH5 modules can't compete with Elpida hypers, too:(
  21. There are lots of different letters (not just A and B) around. You need two systems, one for AMD and one for Intel. AFAIK i7, Wolfdale and P4 all use the same stuff. For AMD you have a difference for K10, with the extra 2 letters in the middle, but apart from that it's been pretty consistent for at least 10 years.
  22. I wonder why there are so few AMD samples out there, and so many Intel's:D If Intel cared about this, you wouldn't find them on ebay, as the auctions would be removed. Intel knows about ebay, and if they choose not to report the auctions they indirectly say that it's no big deal to them.
  23. If we can't see what CPU it is, then it can't be accepted, unfortuantely. However, you can always try to start CPUZ before running 1m. Maybe the efficiency will drop a little bit (set CPUZ to low priority to minimize the effect), but at least you'll get a good result.
  24. I'll try on socket F, 939, 754 and AM2 at some point, but I have an exam I must do before I can create enough space here for another setup:D
